It should be mandatory that every candidate write a book explaining their policies and a detailed analysis of their political career. This book should be legal and binding and sold on a sliding scale. It should also be their main fundraiser. Good idea?

I thought it was a pretty good idea. It would be great. Everyone would go get the three books or so at the same time of year. It would bring up discussion and general interest. It would hold them accountable after being elected. Nobody thinks this is a good idea or can improve upon it? Hell, tell me why it's a bad idea then.
