Alright, so a few weeks ago, me and the wife are at our local hang out, when on comes the jukebox and yes, someone has played Journey.

All of a sudden, Faithfully comes on, and 2 or 3 of us guys are sitting there and comment "great song"... etc. Some sing along with it.

My wife starts laughing at us, saying guys really shouldn't be into that song as heavily as we were... she made fun of us...

so how about it... Faithfully, just another song, girls only or can the guys jam it too ?

A song that deserves some form of recognition whether you be male or female. I myself am male and i think cthis song is just fantasti. Journey got a lot of stick when they were famous for sounding like the other bands at the time ie: Boston but whats wrong with that. These days we have bands like The Kooks, The Arctic Monkeys etc playing generally the same genre but no one says anything and when you consider the lyrical capacity of this song compared to some of todays music i feel its a shame that songs like this don't get as much recognition as they deserve. Songs work on personal levels and it shouldn't matter what they sound like, if it was down to me this style of music should still be prominent today.

I heard them do Faithfully live when they were touring This album/CD.
When the intro began, the women in the arena literally SIGHED THE AIR out of that giant space. Then, they all seemed friendlier.

That song has POWER...hehe

A person of any gender should be able to enjoy any song they please. You should tell your wife she is being sexist...lol.

Faithfully was the first song that ever made me cry. Yeah, I am the emotional type.
