My friend says this is his best pickup line...

him: hey hows it goin

her: good you

him: good blah blah blah (talk about politics or something)

her: blah blah

him: hey do you like ice skating

her: its okay

him: well i think you and me and my girlfriend should go ice skating sometime. would you wanna do that

her: uhh i dunno

him: well you can think about it later but i genuinely want to be your friend you seem like a cool person. *pulls out phone* whats your phone number




then he calls her up and says "my girlfriend doesnt have a problem with me making a new friend but she doesnt feel like ice skating with us. but we dont have to go ice skating me and you can go do something else fun or whatever up to you girl"

then he does something alone with the girl and has sex with her first date, without her ever finding out that he doesnt have a girlfriend


do you guys think this would work?

do girls really so easily have sex with guys who say they have a girlfriend?

You should ask your friend if he's ever tried it. It's deceitful and manipulative. Probably wouldn't even work.

The moment I finished reading the "pick-up line," I thought the same thing.

Just do what Derren Brown does.

he does it all the time and he has sex with tons of chicks

i asked him how he does it and he says he just tell girls he meets on the street that he has a girlfriend and he just wants to be friends with her. and said he tries to act like he has a girlfriend. he said it doesnt work just telling the girl you have a girlfriend, you have to act like you have a girlfriend because if you dont act right the girl will know that you are lying. like you ignore her and dont give her any attention at all and she will think you are giving that attention to your girlfriend instead and it will make her jealous then on the first date he said most girls always have sex with you.

I think it has more to do with the fact that your friend just knows how to pick up girls who are willing to put out on the first date, rather than his pick up line.
There are lots of them just looking for a one nighter nowadays. Tis not just a guy thing anymore.
You may think it is the girls that are getting played, but we can all be players in the game.
I don't think a lot of men give us credit. Do you really think we are stupid, blind? Think we don't know what you want? Think we don't want the same thing with no intention of ever seeing you again?

Notice that both the blonde and the brunette laughed when he guessed the line.

What does that mean? Obviously they had been talking about that very thing.

So either they were plants and told to help him do this illusion, or they had suggested 'pickup lines' as a possible topic and then had a microphone or a vid camera and he heard or read their lips talking about it from a distance.

the amount of times guys have come up to me and friends trying to be smooth, its funny. They use these crap chat up lines... we smile... (let him think we are falling for it) get a few drinks, hook up like we intended to when he walked over. We have sex, have fun, he claimes he has pulled another girl with his amazing chat up lines to his friends, the girl goes home saying... that was fun... like we are going to say:

"Ohhh my, what a charming fellow! I do hope he calls me again"

get her number and walk away.

call her the next day (or 3 days later if you play the Swingers game) and the rest is up to you.


it isn't about a smooth pick up or some witty joke. It's about being yourself. Who wants to be with a girl who falls for a lame line? Who wants to be with a girl who is with you for being something you aren't?

when you learn the above you will learn that men (not boys) are appreciated for being themselves and treating women with respect and not treating them as a conquest.

Your friends technique works for the simple fact that people want what they can't have.... or in this case making them want something they have to prove they can get. Simple.
Act like you're uninterested and most of the time THAT alone will work ... hell, I've had a helluva time tryna get men off me when I really am just not at all interested lol ironic eh ?

my problem is i spend too much time chasing the girl

i should just light-talk to plenty of girls, ask for their number, call her ONCE and be casual then just sit back and let her chase me if she wants me. i dunno if that would work.

interesting angle to this. Of course that could be true, were it true. Sadly, I'm not so that ain't it. It's the confidence one gives off that works like some love monkey pheromones. The confidence induces the lass to give up the number before she has time to think about it rationally. Then the phone call comes and my face is not seen and I can be my normal charming, witty, modest self and the lady is hooked. Then, when she sees me, the gag reflex is minimized as her inner image of me alters her perception enough to make me less vomit swallowing ugly.
