Well some people believe that angels are aliens, and jesus had to die for our sins because he was our only tie to god. god could not sacrifice himself so he sacrificed a part of him, his son

I keep telling you folks that it's not about aliens, but time travelers. That's why they look human, and are sometimes even called "strangers," such as those at Jesus's empty tomb. Jesus was a time travel project. Not aliens.

I've been pondering about something for a while, if we are in fact not alone in the universe then why would God send down his only son to earth. What made up Gods mind to send his son down to us and not a more intelligent race like aliens.
Could it mean that God sent down his only son because we are supposed to do something amazing for the whole universe? Or did he send down his only son because we are actually alone.
This doesn't apple to anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus

You take for granted that God exists and that Jesus was son of God.
First of all, Jesus was just a human, a prophet with healing powers (we have such healers even today) and untill I get a hard evidence, something more then propaganda in a Bible, I won't change my oppinion. This is serious stuff and we can't take everything for granted.
So, IF God exists and IF Jesus was really son of God sent for the purpose..well, too many IFs there and each size of a Jumbo jet. Hard to go any deeper into discution with those two yet to be proved.
Well, let me tell you, I don't think we're any better then the rest of the species out there. Simple as that. There is no special human destiny or role in this universe..not really. We're yet to get in contact with the others and the others are yet to get in contact with us so..well, it's simple as that.

Hmm question, if Jesus were a "project" why would (who ever ran this project) want to play such a huge hoax on us? People put their lives down for Christianity?
This isn't a flame, just give more detail.

Certain things need to happen in order for the timeline to play out. It's not a "hoax," per se. More like letting people believe what they need to believe. After all, the greatest scientists and artists in Western civilization were Christians looking for "God's design" in the universe. And in order for them to do that, they need a Christ. If they don't get one, then all kinds of things won't happen, possibly including the development of a functioning time machine.
