name one left wing regime that poverty came to that wasnt constantly fending off the United states. There hasnt been a single leftist regime that has been left on its own to succeed or fail on its own merits.

Where America intervened prosperity took root. China was a waste pool of poverty until Nixon opened them up to the west. USSR was a cesspool of poverty until Regan brought them down, they are now going back to the leftwing cesspool with Putin.

If, however, you look at EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY the US has been involved in, panama, el salvador, columbia, anywhere where we push our free market, any where we support some petty dictator or military regime, you see a country stuck in the third world, where there is a vast gap between the rich minority and the poor destitute majority, and you see MASSIVE human rights abuses.

America was pushed away or out of those leftwing countries and they fell apart by the leftwing dictators.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him change his stripes. Once leftwing sets in there isn't much anyone can do. So goodbye Venezuela, the next Cuba leftwing cesspool

Why doesn’t Hugo Robbing hood give the working class a break and buck the trend of the other oil producing countries?

That's exactly what he's doing. Only problem is that he's doing it for Venezuelans.

Right now, the gas price in Venezuela is $0.14 a gallon. That's right... FOURTEEN CENTS PER GALLON.

The rest of the world pays more.

It’s 14 cents per gallon in Venezuela because it’s $4 plus a gallon over here. Venezuela is making a fortune selling their oil to us and can afford to sell it cheap to themselves. But the fact is most and I mean most of the people in Venezuela don’t buy much gas because they can’t afford a car to put the gas into.

Venezuela remains a poor country even though billions of American dollars flow there every day for the last several years. I wonder where all that money is going? I guess all those medical clinics Hugo had to build to treat malnutrition that was caused by his leftist regime.

Hugo is living the good life, the life of a king. He travels around the world like a super star, throwing money around as if it grew on trees. He has more money than Midas, and everything he touches turns to gold, for him and his cronies that is.

But wait. Poverty in Venezuela has increased since he took over his country. People are running out of food and the bare necessities and the world is not hearing about these atrocities because Hugo Chaves owns the media in his country.

Well, the people did vote for him, he did tell them that he would control their lives; they knew who his friends were, Fidel Castro being his biggest buddy. They saw what Fidel did to his people; Castro turned a prosperous country into total and complete poverty overnight with his revolution to rid the country of those capitalist pigs.

Those capitalist pigs went elsewhere and created prosperity for others, and left the Cubans to live less than pigs.

That’s what you get when you vote into office a big brother or sister to take care of all your needs and problems, you get the big shaft.

Access to free primary health care and dentistry – through the programme known as Barrio Adentro (Inside the Barrio) – is one of the most important improvements the residents here say they have experienced under President Chavez.

Most of the doctors and dentists here are Cubans who have moved to the barrio as part of a deal under which Cuba receives cheap oil.

Yes they have cheap gasoline. It's not their fault that you do not have that. Oil is not infinite. Soon you will hit the limits of capitalism, then you will wish to "cooperate" with others.
If Chavez choses he could sell oil at 1000$ a barrel. What will you do go kill him ? I thought you were a capitalist you respect other people's property don't you ? Or only when it's convenient ?

Livestock in American get better health care, which is sad

They were lucky to get out of Cuba, that’s why they did it.

If capitalism goes away then the whole world will become a Third World Country, a cesspool of poverty.

I wish Chaves would stop selling his oil to us, he will not because his country would go down the tubes very fast without the billions of US dollars that are propping up his leftwing country.

We don’t need Chaves oil, we will find other oil and other means of energy. So keep on upping the price Hugo

whatever, every country US has been involved in has remained third world. China is growing of their own accord, as is Russia, and the united states certainly had nothing to do with that growth. Every country america has been involved with has remained oppressed and third world until we are kicked out, congo, zaire, indonesia, columbia. Our "free market" crap is even turning australia into third world. Cuba's medical care ranks better than ours, and its free!! And when the call went out to all the big oil companies asking for help for poor americans the only one to even respond was....Venezuela!! The big american companies never even responded. The only country that has prospered under american influence is israel, but they wont be around for long. And as i said before, there hasnt been a SINGLE country in the world who attempted a socialist revolution, that the united states didnt get involved in with propaganda, economic warfare.

Citgo consistency has the lowest gas prices where I live. Anytime I want cheap quality gas I head over to citgo. When I want to get ripped a new one I head over to a shell or a chevron.

At citgo you only get the REALLY good price if you pay in CASH. The CASH price per gallon is something like 5 to 10 cents cheaper than their regular price (which is already a bit lower than the competition).

My two cents.

also, if Cuba was so bad now, im sure they wouldnt be letting their doctors go to other countries because none would be coming back. As to money we send to venezuela and where is it going, im sure most us aid to venezuela goes to producing propaganda, supplying insurrectionists, and financing our anti-chavez campaign. Funny how we can spend so much time and money there trying to bring down a ruler whos greatest crime is nationalizing oil, even though he has reduced poverty, increased healthcare and education, and opened relations and aid to other nations. At the same time we have no money or time to invest in places like myanmar or darfur or rwanda. hmmm.
