Blacks believing that Jesus was Black, White people believing he was white... etc entire nations, actually. The ones believing their folly, setting up a trap.

These men never changed their attitude: they were CERTAIN Jesus was black/olive/whatever, which was not stated in the Scriptures. Their souls, were they deamned for believing what is wrong?

It is stated quite clearly what complexion Jesus was and he certainly wasn't white. It is stated quite clearly what color the apostles were and they were certainly not white. But, for the sake of argument, let's say you beleive they were white guys.

Then, the anti-christ, knowing the deception, comes as the deceptive christ and you fall on your knees and worship. That is the danger of believng your own folly.

I swear, everyone forgets that there's a bad guy in all of this.

It really would be shovinistic if any race used this as their advantage.

His laws were stated for all humanity, all races. And Catholics will follow them, as he ordered. They will be awarded for this.

Doesn't anyone besides me get tired of this pointless topic? If you want Jesus to be black or if you want him to be white then to each his/her own. Do you really think that god is going to condem you for following the contense, but not the wrapping? The fact of the matter is that unless you were alive 2000 years ago and saw him with your own eyes, you can't say for sure. Everyone quotes this book or that book, but these books were all writen by man and are thus failable because they are writen through a perticular individual's perception and not Gods. I cant honestly say. The last time I was in school the had just started intergration which didnt much matter in our distrect because blacks and whites went to the same dinky assed school to begain with. You said to go back before american history so Ill give it a shot

I think I see where you are coming from but if you think there are not enough black role models out there shouldnt YOU be reshearching to find them? And even more importantly shouldnt YOU be striving to be a role model yourself? Dont take this wrong I am not being sarcastic or trying to say this is all of yalls fault because its not, but till more Blacks step up to bat and BECOME the role models than your fighting a losing battle.

In a way I can identfy with what you are saying I grew up in on of the most poverty stricken areas in america. Half the houses in our county back then didnt even have electricty, black or white. But we have managed to turn things around, which it is hard to keep our childrens minds in school when they see the meth labs making money hand over foot, but we try, black and white.

I lied about my age and joined the army at 16 and seen horrors that even today I stlll can not talk about and have worked my ass off, sometimes two jobs at a time, to put my kids through collage.

There life is much better, one is a major player at orcale and another owns two businesses and their children will have it good. This is the ONLY answer that I know of. Some of us black and white have made some of us have not. Life is not always fair and sometimes you have to make your luck.

Well, on the topic...I must say that just the other night I saw a show on Discovery about this and was facinated with the Ethiopian Jews and how one of their churches possibly holds the Ark of the Covenant. They are the only culture in the world that still has (since their beginnings) rituals based on worship of the Ark.

Great show and interesting people. They did note how it is "believed" that the Jewish religion spread there. The biblical Queen of Sheeba is thought to be a Queen from Ethiopia and was the reason for the religion and the safekeeping of the ark.

I think their bias was on Jesus being of dark bronze skin, but not being related to the Ethiopian DNA line.
Very interesting show though.
