Much thanks to the moderators

Here I find myself in a moment where I should be thanking the moderators of this site and the founders alike. Through much turmoil have we gone, misunderstandings and arguments, but still going nonetheless.

This is a great site and I realize it more and more everyday that I come here. I find it so important to understand others and what they actually mean and to refrain from what I want them to mean.

I have learned a great hoard of information over the years. Gracias! And even when we disagree or mistkaes are made, I still love ya!

Kudos to ATS and the community.

Thank You to the mods for their patience and fortitude!
Often overlooked until a warn, they put up with 'stuff' we don't sometimes know about!

Honestly though, I don't understand how the mods find, edit, and lock dumb posts so fast. It's pretty impressive.

That's because they ARE machines.

When they become mods, they are injected with nano-machines designed and produced by SO which turn them into super fast reading entities able to be in several places at once.

Theborg was brought in as a mod because he already had the nano's in abundance and SO's supply was running out - so he took some of theborgs blood, and made more new, improved nano's from it, which we are now seeing the effects of.



Seriously though - agreed, they do a great job.

Working for nothing. Doing a fine job for the machine. They deserve a pat on the back and an 'atta boy/girl'.

It’s so nice to come across a thread like this sometimes, really you guys are the best and im sure I speak for the rest of the mod squad that it’s quite an experience lol,

I see us all here on ATS as a team, the staff the members the admins and owners... Without all of this together this site would not be here and would not work,

The mods work there bottoms off trying to keep the content reachable to the masses!
And I know the members do to, you guys are awesome,

I myself have learned so much from just reading the threads that I have had to moderate! Haha
I’m now pretty clued up on UFOs and the types of, I know me earthquakes from my tremors!
And I even am getting a little clued up on planes!
And heck im an English girl who is jolly well clued up on the US election: P

I think sometimes we just all need to give each other a little pat on the back,

SO and Springer and the other top guys work hard to bring new things to you all, to help move with the times we find our self in, to improve your ATS experience, To bring this big amazing community together and welcome others,

So Big hugs to you all!

And remember that we are only a u2u away,
Yes we sometimes miss things but a nice u2u just letting us know when you see an issue is very helpful, that or use the complaints/suggestions, we do read them all and we do review each case,

Ditto what Asala said, we're all just a U2U away should you ever have concern, question or just need to express yourself.

I think some members would be surprised about the number of Moderator / Member friendships that we have on this board. Beleive it or not, Moderators aren't these mean people sitting behind a monitor somewhere just waiting for a breach in the T&C. We're here to participate and help.

Also, lets never forget, that we're all members first regardless of a title that we may carry under our name.

This was a nice thread to wake up and see. Thank you but it's the members that make this the wonderful place to be. I've made some friendships here that have enriched my life. Some day I hope to meet many of the members in real life.

I think a group hug is in order "hugs".

As a mod on another board,I know what a thankless task it can be. So I'll take my hat off to the mods on here,we've only got around 2000 people (only a few hundred regular visitors)on the site I mod,with about 5 mods. This site is huge,you must all have thick skin,and a very good patience.

And thank you to the mod who gave me a fine once for a not so nice, but not toooo mean post. I was devastated, but eventually redeemed. I learned my leason and became a better poster because of it.

This really is the best site I've ever been on. Thank you mods!!! M & M's for all of you! And yes, even you...you know who you are.

Yes great job mods. I am new here, and I bet I have made them work a little too. I recently have had my first 2 applauses on here as well by two mods. So thanks for putting up with the bs and keep up the good work!

Without ATS, I would have no way to discuss issues that are important to me since no one I know personally believes the same things I do.

Your dedication will ensure that ATS will be around for many years to come.

Thank you, ALL. What a pleasant and refreshing thread to happen upon. But, please bear in mind, if it weren't for ALL of You there would be No need for us to even be here. No, I'm not referring to the need for someone to "police" the boards, as that's truly Not our vantage point, approach nor perspective on things. I'm speaking of being afforded the opportunity to aide, assist, and or facilitate members' experiences here on ATS. A pleasure, honor, and position that I, for one, approach with the utmost of respect, gratitude and overall appreciation.

I'd much rather spend an hour helping and applauding others as opposed to 5 minutes trying to reign in a wayward member. As I'm sure others can attest to, though, we have to take the good with the bad, just as in real life, and always be sure to keep our eyes and minds focused on the true objective. Living, learning and denying ignorance.. especially when it be our own.

Spring is in the air...

There's been a few of these huggy threads lately - not that I'm complaining, they're much preferable to drama's.

I just wonder if it's because spring is in the air...

Lambs gambolling in the fields, flowers blooming, bunnies frolicking (the ones without mixamytosis)

And ATSers are all loved up

Seriously though, it's great to see a re-affirmation and validation that we are indeed a close knit online community who "virtually" care for each other - in a purely platonic way of course
