Hi Everyone

Mods: if this is the wrong forum for this thread please feel free to move it.

First off, i would like to state that this thread is only something that occured to me when i was driving home tonight. I was listening to a recording of Coast 2 Coast which i had downloaded, the subject was about remote viewing and all of a sudden it got me thinking about string theory (dont ask me why !)

String theory predicts that at every point in 3D space there are additional
dimensions called Calabi-Yau spaces. The movie link below helps explain some of this.

Multiple Dimensions
(requires quicktime)

Anyway, heres what i suddently though about. If these additional dimensions are at every point in 3D space, then they must exist within our own bodies. So, they must exist in the human brain.

If this is in fact the case, could it be possible that in some people, these additional dimensions could be gathered in such away around the brains neurons that the brain is actually able to access those additional dimensions. could this be where dreams come from, could this be what allows people to remove view, could this be why some people have psychic powers.

I've no experience with anything psychic or remote viewing etc.... I would love to hear if people who do have these abilities think that this could be possilbe, or indeed, if its exactly what they experience.

All comments welcome, but please try and stick to the subject.

Anyway.... .thanks for reading...

That is a very interesting concept you came up with there. I appreciate it.

I was outside last night, looking up at the sky, do to another thread and saw some nice lightening.

I have always imagined that is what goes on within out brains, lightning strikes going back and forth, all contained.

Fascinating!

Thanks Fan

It seems to me that if the dimensions do exist like they say they do then this maybe possible... we know next to nothing about the brain ....

The brain doesn't access anything.
It's more of a data processor (and not a very complete one at that).

The mind does.

Vanitas,

I love your perspective on things like this. How do you come to this conclusion?

The brain has nothing to do with a mind, are you saying?

How do you account for brilliant people then, who have claimed to be out of their minds, or who have lost their minds?

This might be off topic, but what about people who have mental illnesses due to diseased brains, for example?

What about people who are pedophiles for example? Do they have different brains and minds than the rest of us?

How do you explain, people being out of their minds?

I really want to know what the differences are, you think are between the brain and the mind.

Thanks

*cough*

Well, we imagined 1 dimension after another with the conventional ones like space and time - we got a whole dozen off of them right there.

If you can prove that there are three dimensions that are perceptible within this reality we perceive, and that they aren't simply a list of factors that make up a single dimension, much like a mathematical equation, i'll stop coming up with mental ideas to do with a Dimension or two being made up of every single natural law or being made up of nothing other than insane perpetual energy.

Here's an example of what i mean;

1+1 = 2, right?

That is the dimension we exist in.

We exist in a dimension ruled by numbers, by lengths, by areas.

But what if;

1+1 = -2?

Wouldn't this technically speaking be the polarised opposite of our dimension, one which is made up of every negative or positive opposite mathematical figure or area that makes up our own dimension?

Would it not be feasible to say that, if when an Atom is split and releases Energies of which exceed that of which was previously thought theoretically possible, we create a 'Temporary Dimension' made of nothing other than what was inside that Atom?

Let's look at the reverse of this example - a black hole.

A black hole could be said to be the 'reverse' of a temporary dimension, an indefinate dimension which hangs around for as long as our dimension can sustain it in our mathematical reality.

*clicks fingers mentally*

That which cannot be explained by mathematics, presumably cannot exist within the dimension we reside in, so therefore another dimension would have to appear within ours in order for those 'materials' or 'unexplained phenomena' to exist within our own dimension*.

Imagine it, entire dimensions made up of nothing but energy (if you can't, imagine a dimension made of lightning) that cannot exist within our own mathematical dimensions because of the simple fact that the laws which control our dimension - the mathematical laws of physics - do not allow them to.

I could rant on a bit about where this leaves our dimension in the big picture of a multi-dimensional universe, but i'd be at it all week.

I'll simply leave it by asking a simple question;

What Caused the Big Bang?

*Black holes are not truly indefinate last i checked, so that could be see as the mathematical laws of our reality reasserting themselves over the laws of the other dimensions.

I've given this a bit of thought myself and certainly wouldn't rule it out. Our minds are much more powerful than they get credit for, it's very possible that we have unused channels or doors (for lack of a better word) that we simply do not know how to open. Some people have the ability, some don't. Usually the ones who have the ability are labeled lunatics by society for speaking what they know is true. Awesome post!

I suppose i should make a statement on how i believe the 'brain' is essentially a multi-dimensional entity which is only capable of such an acheivement thanks to the complexity that goes into an organism's biological construct.

After all, you are generating Energy, are you not?

I had a friend who suffered from severe mental illness that was drug induced (she took something illegal)

The way it was explained to me was that she had too many synopsis (?I a) firing at one time due to the drug she took.

When I sat outside looking at the lightning, I thought of my friend.

Maybe out brains are the way they are for a reason, not to be messed around with.

When and if, something should become more than what it is out of what we have, hmmm?

I am very anti drug, due to what my friend experienced, and I don't even want to hear about experimentation of any sorts.

Her life is ruined. She has lived in a group home for mentally dissabled people since her brain got fried.

I'm not sure if they are accessible with the brain but I know they are accessible with a cessna. All you gotta do is make some wicked barrel rolls near the bermuda triangle and that's it. For details, consult this post. www.abovetopsecret.com...

If we do have access (somehow) to these dimensions through the brain connecting with the Calabi-Yau spaces whos to say that we could be looking into a dimension which is actually another dimension of time.

Two of the unseen dimensions could be the past and future, this could help to explain deja-vu and possible past lives.

I understand that this stuff seems a bit 'out there'. I'm not really a believer in the paranormal etc.... mainly because i've never had any experiences with it (or wanted to) but it was just something that popped into my mind while driving home......

Have you ever heard of the Pineal Gland..?
The Third Eye?
If not you really need to research it...
You'll know why when you do and it will answer your thread's question...

Pineal Gland
Wiki (Pineal Gland)

This ties into Fluoride... Interesting it accumulates in this specific gland in our brain... hmmm...
Flouride Accumulates in the Pineal Gland...!!!

Hi,

Yeah, i saw those vids of David Wilcock but never really put that in the same kinda context to me he wasnt talking about extra dimensions he was talking more about paranormal experiences etc.....

I will re-listen to the 2012 thing again, im sure i missed something .....

i wont say what my initial opinion of David Wilcock was because im sure it will break the T&C's

Yes no doubt, to me he seems to be really excited about stargate, relates to that show too much, which leads me to believe he could be making some of what he says up... But read between the lines, there is some truth in what he says... Especially everything on the symbolism around the Pineal Gland and what it represents...

It's possible, yes.

I always thought of Time being a factor of a dimension rather than being a dimension unto itself.

Which would share similarities with many so-called 'factors' which make up a dimension, as after all our own dimension may share many properties (like time) with those of another.

However it is my opinion that deja-vu and past life experiences are infact localised to this dimension specifically, and that it doesn't require inter-dimensionary activity in order to happen.

There are factors of this 'dimension' that we are so far unaware of, don't forget that.

Been listening to his 2012 stuff again this afternoon, be does love the Pineal Gland doesnt he. Where he constantly points to the gland looking like a pine cone, well i have to admit, i've never seen the Pineal Gland so i decided to do a search on google for actual 'medical' photos of the gland
and im sorry to say i dont think it looks like a pine cone at all !

here are 2 images for comparison (if you dont like things medical then dont open the first link
)
Pinea l Gland

Pine Cone

Some of the other things that he speaks of though do seem to fit, but like you said, in some place i think hes been watching too much startgate sg-1

I really hate all of this nonsense about "higher dimensions" & only "gifted people" being able to access them, like psychics & all that guff.

I think the people who claim things like this are suffering from a psychological problem, that they are unhappy with their lot in this life & seek to find ways to be "special" that cannot disproved.

I mean, why can't they just be other dimensions instead of "higher" dimensions, & why do these special places, unseen to the rest of us have to "vibrate at higher frequencies," etc.

There seems to be a lot of emphasis on "higher," & a lot of reference to vibrations & frequencies from people who clearly don't understand what they're talking about.

The brain is just a big lump of jelly that is full of neurons, it isn't "magick."

Even bugs have brains, do you think some of them can "vibrate with the higher dimensions?"

Who said anything about vibrating with higher dimensions!

This dimensions idea was based only really around string theory and the possibilities of the dimensional loops actually being percieved by the neurons in the brain but generally we wouldnt be aware of the interface.

The idea that some people may be able to get over the problem interfacing with the dimension to actually see whats there etc... was just a side effect of the initial idea .... if you know what i mean.

Thats why they put flouride in your water, to try to stop you using that part of your brain.

there s some truth on his word but if such thing happen then living wouldnt have any purpose since we re alive as a test when we die we go either to haven or hell depends on our act yet claiming in 2012 everybody will be pure i dont know sounds too good
