Which Side?

Ok, my last thread has inspired me to create a new one, with a different question...
Which side of the force would you rather be on?
Jedi? or Sith?

Now, I don't want anyone thinking I'm a Star Wars freak or anything...I'm just in a Star Wars mood right now...lol

You already know where I stand on this one from the other thread. But I'm definitely sith.

As far as I'm concerned the sith ideology is right and the Jedi are fools.

I'm thinking it doesn't really matter.
It's MILLER time.

Why so? Because the Sith are a bunch of lying, backstabbing fools? Or because they kill their wives in fits of anger? (hint:Anakin)

The Jedi are at least honest...and face it-wouldn't you want a little green, weird talking, martial arts master/badass on your team?

I think you are confusing privacy with lieing. Palpatine started a successful revolution in the prequel trilogy and all the way up to his brutus (vader) assassinating him (eh to, brute?) the only unhappy people in the original trilogy happen to be Jedi.

Palpatine rid tatooine of slavery for god's sake. How else do you think Luke and his aunt and uncle were able to live as free moisture farmers and not as slaves to the superior races?

That was Obi-Wan's fault and you know it.

Anakin was a Jedi Padawan when he killed all of the tuscans, not a Sith. And the Jedi promoted him to a full Jedi soon after. What does that say about them?

They are not honest. They built Anakin up like he was the one to bring balance to the force. They lied to him. Yoda wasn't powerful enough to stop the republic-revolution, he couldn't forsee the coming changing of the guard. Yoda is weak.

Ummm...Yoda is weak? WHAT?
No one could have single handedly stopped the revolution...may I remind you of the clones? Quantity can definetly have advantage over quality in some wars...

Oh, but you forget that the Jedi and the republic were still losing the war when they had the clones on their side. Palpatine's planning and cunning freed the people of the oppressive republic while the Jedi got fat and complacent.

And still, through all of their bumbling, the empire still could have been thwarted if only Yoda could have stopped palpatine in the halls of the senate. Alas, he could not.

It was through the passion that the Jedi lacked that the empire rose to power. It was the passion that the Jedi deny that freed the sith from thousands of years of oppression and witch hunts. The Jedi turned the Sith into the galactic boogeyman through propaganda and fear.

Not very Jedi sounding.

And not to be a stickler, but if Yoda was right and 'Size matters not", why did he struggle so lifting the X-Wing out of the Dagoba swamps? It was this weakness in the force that stopped him from forseeing the destruction of the republic ... Palpatine forsaw his downfall. He even trained Vader for this very reason. The Sith train their apprentices to be stronger than themselves. Yoda was scared to train Anakin properly due to his potential.

BTW, Are you done your beer yet? Let's get this party started!

I was thinking of watching Saw !V tonight, but now I may watch The Empire Strikes Back again ... decisions decisions.

Saw IV isn't nearly as good as the first three...
anyway, back on track. One question-If the Sith aren't as bad as everybody thinks...why do they kill at will? That can't be right
