A serious row has blown up over the security of the Olympic torch, with the Chinese Ambassador directly contradicting Prime Minister Kevin Rudd over whether Chinese security officials will be protecting the flame.

Considering the political interplay between the two leaders and the issues China is having at home, I thought this cartoon was rather good:



Hopefully the PM will stand his ground. But it seems like lately he just can't put a foot wrong, what with the extra appointments of women in the government and all these 2020 idea summits, etc.
