I went to school with the drummer, and I was in a band with him and the guitar player (Dave) before they joined the Telescopes. The bass player was my best mates younger brother. I moved to the States just before they signed their first recording contract. I also used to deliver 'Militant', (now called The Socialist), to Joanna before any of us were in bands.
