lol, stop being so cynical.
i am not trying to deceive anyone, to be honest i am not that clever!!!!
but i will share the full story with you after i sell it, its a bit embarrassing but the people that know how it happened can see the funny side of it.
The unidentified flying object that smashed through the roof of a Whakatu house in mid-April is for sale on TradeMe.
Hawke's Bay Today spoke this morning to the owner of the so-called UFO, who let a top bid of $655 lapse on Saturday. The reserve was $750, which the man said he intended to give to the Cunningham family, the owners of the damaged house.
The man lives just two doors down from the Cunninghams. Trading under the name stuatwhakatu, he initially denied all knowledge of the event.
I'll tell you nothing,' he said, but added he would speak if the newspaper came up with $750.
Then while working in a workshop at the back of his house on Station Road, he said
the story's not that interesting.
But a police spokesman, Sergeant Bob Gordon, said he had heard that the 1kg, cast-iron plate with the name Seley on it came from a wood splitter.
On TradeMe, Stu has advertised
This is the genuine `UFO' that made international news after smashing through the roof and ceiling of a house in Whakatu (7km out of Hastings).
It has had officials and scientists scratching their heads as to what it came off and how it came to punch a hole through someone's roof.
Well I know what it came off and how it happened, and the only other person that will know this will be the winner of this auction.
And all proceeds of the auction will be going to the owner of the house that ended up with a hole in his roof to help with the repair costs.

Your right it has already been identified as a henge from a cargo container so its not a UFO.
Maybe it should be in the 'Alternative Breaking News' section?
I also have worked with these type of containers before and will have to disagree with your assesment.
