Yes, it's virtually the exact same thing which happened to the guy they are depicting, the Christ of the Roman Empire, also known as C�sar. And about the assistant director that's a redo of Pope JP2's assasination I guess.

Yes i agree it was wierd for this story not to be mentioned all through-out mainstream, as you would think it would be. Personally I believe that them getting struck by lightning was an exact proof of GOD, but why they werent killed is beyond me? There's a message behind this maybe...? Maybe because they were hired to do this job and not the actual people pushing for it to happen? Who knows

Or maybe he just got hit by lightning as a coincidence? Ah sorry *ducks the tomatoes* that can't possibly happen! Well Gazrok says he was hit 3 times? And there was a guy who was hit 7 times. Although neither tried to imitate Jesus...

If not a coincidence, then whatever targeted him for a lightning strike probably did NOT intend to kill, but more as a "warning" of some sort. Or just to make all the Christians believe it's a sign from God and just motivate more people to fall for religion... hmm...
