Odds are his mother is on welfare, using the very system she constantly criticized. The father is out on the streets gang banging or locked up in the prison system.

So...is this kid going to be charged? If not, then I guess the Patriot Act and other "rights squashers" that people rail against on ATS still don't have enough teeth. If you can threaten the President and get away with it, then clearly the laws aren't strong enough.

I have to admit, i too at one point wanted to kill Bush.

But that was when he beat Al Gore by 5 electoral votes and lost the popular vote by several hundred thousand, and yet didn't see fit to call for a re-election - kinda like a little kid who doesn't know how to be a good winner.

Since then, i've just been wishing that he'd simply go away somewhere.
