Ok, this is my first post on this site ever. I have been on this site for quite a while now and never really had much input but just loved to read and gather others thoughts. I have really wanted to have my first post be something that could gather much interest. My Post is about how the world population just rose past 6,666,666, and how i always remember the saying that the anti-Christ will show himself when this number has been hit. Well tonight on Comedy Centrals show the Colbert Report, Obama was star guest. Any thoughts on this or this number?

It's just a number. And you have one source for your figure and, although I like that page, there are others that have not hit the 6's across the board yet. No one will ever really know when we hit 6,666,666,666.

Heh, I doubt its true.

Look at Sudan, Ethiopa hell the United States.

no one has a clue how many people there are.

Yeh, its just a number as Rabbitchasser puts it.

I think if we got passed the 666 number all those millenium ago, we would be fine in that respect.

Dammed if I know how people can calculate or keep tabs on the worlds' population at any given time - some indigenous peoples are not even accounted for in several countries (Brazil, Indonesia, Borneo etc).

Even the USA does not know what it's true (unofficial) population is today!!

However, the number, 6,666,666 may relate to the number of times Bush has lied to the American people - were pretty close to that landmark!!

The number 600 60 and 6 (the way it is written in the bible in the original Hebrew) is supposed to be the number of a man (or woman?) much like a social security number or a numerological calculation of the name. In the Hebrew language each letter correlates to a number (different from common numerology) and I believe only the consonants are used in the calculations.

Maybe we're the mark of the beast, the population as a whole...makes sense for the Nostradamus prediction about Mabus. When Mabus dies, we are the mark of the beast, we're all the anti-Christ's....maybe?

The counts always disagree but it would have been more interesting if the number had been hit in 1998. I loved the whole 666 x 3 = 1998, 222 (1998-1776) x 3 = 666 stuff. Then there was another that was a stretch, -4004 (Genesis according to some) + 6666 - 666 + 2 (because you have to pull numbers out of your butt with this stuff) = 1998.

See... way cooler if it had been then!

Mother Earth has the capability of accomodating 27 billion people and resources to feed them all.

We just dont have the technology to deal with this amount- that s all.

As far as the number? means nothing, really.

Don't forget all those little islands dotted around indonesia - i bet there's people around there who don't even pay taxes, lol.

yeah, i thought that "we" were the mark as well. talked about it in a thread of mine. i still think we are beast.

Here is the world and the U.S. population counter and if you watch the speed of the counter it will be a little while before the world population hits the multiple 6 numbers.It adds about 6-10 people every couple of minutes.
