The future of the U.S.A.?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
All three of the presidential candidates are current senators. However, instead of doing the job the taxpayers pay them to do, they are all parading about the country rasing money and talking about how well they will do the job of president.
What's wrong with this picture?

don't vote...i think its a disgrace for blacks and women to vote now just because we got a woman and black running for president. we must hold off and finally get world peace, a free trade market, and regrow some of our natural resources.....if not we face destruction and we all will fall...

I heard a rumor about civil war happening very soon and the people running for votes wanting to be president.

Other then that I have no clue.
