Conspiracies are making me nuts

Hi board,
My first post.

It's funny how one thing leads to another, then another, then ...
One week ago I assumed most conspiratist were ex-hippies or lunatic paranoids (as generally depicted in the media).
But then all of that changed when I began researching the Federal Reserve.

That of course led me to stories of the Rockefellers, JP Morgan, Col. House,
Illuminati, Nazi's, Roosevelt, the CIA, the CFR, NWO, Trilaterial Commision, Bildebergs, 9-11, RFID, etc. etc.

That story alone would drive you nuts, but keep going and David Icke tells of reptile people and Benjamin Fulford about secret ninjas preparing for battle against the Illuminati.
Throw in aliens, armageddon, and countless others - then you are pretty much ready for a padded room somewhere.

I wish I could find the truth about these issues, but truth can be elusive.
The more I read the more confusing it all gets.

How do you guys decipher all of the information?

Thanks for reading,
ironbound

Hi welcome.

first things first, it's very easy to let things bother you these days, especially since we are living in tense times.

Also don't believe everything that spins about on here, there is a lot of good information and then there's a lot of baloney too.

Just go with your instincts.

The Rockerfeller stuff and the bIlderberg meetings are almost certainly true, the small shadowy, greedy elite that controls mankind and controls the banks and media and what-not. The swines.

The David Icke stuff is brilliant, although I'm not too sure about the reptile stuff, but apart from that he seems to have his head switched on.

So, in a word, keep an open mind, but don't let it affect you.

Mr - L

At last it seems im not the only one, i find reading some theories gets me paranoid and a little afraid, there is so much out there regarding these theories and no way of telling which is true or not, and deep down you know a lot of it is nonsense but it still has an effect on you, and i dont see how it couldnt have an effect on most people who just want to et on with life and their families.

I cope by telling myself its a giant puzzle with the truth mixed in, and that the truth is slowly winging its way to the top, my personal opinion is that there are those who would watch a child die in front of their eyes for their benefit, but that those people are not where they wish to be right now but are working on it, if these people can be kept from the top or from their goals then justice shall prevail.

The theories where they want the human race dead IMO is unfounded and ilogical, because if everyone was dead who would serve them? or do their dirty work? all they would have would be a throan of mud.

Welcome to the party.
I had been reading about his stuff for a long time, heck I was a lurker here off and on for a few years but I remember when I first realized that the world is not as it seems...and there is evidence that supports it. It for me was kinda like hearing that a loved one has died. You "know" it is true when the doctor tells you, but it does not sink in till the viewing or funeral, that is when you "know" it is really really true, and after that life will never be the same again. Its not like you can later "unknow" what you have learned.

The basic illogic of a slave state is relatively easy to demonstrate. The Nazis sometimes used slave labor for certain projects because they didn't have an alternative available. The strong and healthy men were in the army. Slaves were available, and were considered expendable. The result was that the projects took longer than usual to complete and were constantly hampered by sabotage. In a different example, when the last big earthquake hit the Los Angeles area, several big sections of the freeway collapsed, snarling traffic. Estimates for repair times were running to nearly a year in some cases. But what happened was they hired good companies to repair the damage, and incentivized them so that the quicker and better they did, the more money they made. Repairs got done in about three months.

The lesson is simple. Look at the guys on Wall Street or in any other large business who work like maniacs -- 16 hour days, no vacations. Why do they do it? Because they see obvious positive results. They make more money, which betters their own and their families lives. It's basic behavioral psychology. When it's done correctly, and in even more so in cases where the work requires more mental effort than physical, a carrot always works better than a stick for increasing quality and production levels. If that is your goal.

Greed is a factor among the super wealthy of the world, of course. But psychotic greediness is actually pretty rare. Most extremely wealthy people eventually come to realize that they can only live so good. And there's a point of diminishing returns. One castle is great. Two is nice. Five castles means upkeep and staffing people who don't do anything. It's great to have $5 billion. Is it twice as great to have $10 billion? Not necessarily.

So very wealthy people build hospitals and establish charitable trusts. The industries they create give people excellent jobs and benefits. And if they need or want to increase productivity, they offer better incentives to attract better people. They don't recruit more slaves.

So whether the evil forces are the scary wealthy elite or scaly aliens from space, the whole notion that somehow people are soon going to be forced to toil in the mines as slaves to feed the coffers of their overlords is wildly illogical in several aspects, and can only be attributed to a kind of basic, ignorant fear and a complete misunderstanding of motivational psychology and business management.

How does one decipher all the information? Study philosophy, politics, and theosophy and use your intuition. The older the better; but one cannot be taken without the other.
You should read Helena Blavatsky's The Secret Doctrine
(it might shed some light on the whole esoteric agenda situation)

Thanks psychedeliack

THE SECRET DOCTRINE would probably answer many questions.
(Assuming I can discipline myself to study the words carefully, and the intellect to understand.)

I recently skim read two other books on the subject which were interesting:
(sorry I don't know how to add links)

Philip Dru Administrator : a Story of Tomorrow 1920 - 1935 by Edward House
&
The Shape of Things to Come by HG Wells

It's all tripe. New World Order, 9/11 conspiracies, UFOs, Zionist plots, reptilian billionaires, faked Moon landings, Planet X, mind control experiments, the lot of it. All brinjals, as my grandmother used to say.

So why am I here, on ATS?

  1. For the laughs
  2. For the arguments
  3. For the many fascinating things I learn from the links posted by members (skeptics, mostly) who really know what they're talking about.
  4. Because the people here are so fascinating. ATS really is a place to learn how the other half lives... and thinks.

But heaven help you if you take any of it seriously.

The problem is that there was a country where slave labor was used ,and with pretty efficient results. It was a country that was established as a new world wide system to fight evils of the modern world, to free oppressed, to unify divided, to promise bright future and all those shiny pretty slogans. And people who did that were not utterly evil to the bone - they just were sure in truth and justice of they way and in corruption of the opposition. You of course understand that i am talking about USSR.
Ever heard of labor armies? But they were not just a concept, they were really used in Soviet concentration camps.
Even engineers and scientists worked in the same way -
en.wikipedia.org...
This approach did not spread to whole of Soviet economy (only in penative system and to lesser extent agriculture) due to huge manpower losses in WW2 and due to "cooling" of revolutionary drive.
The Soviet system failed economically not because slave labor was not supplying its needs - but because of lack of solid judgment and spread of corruption in the ruling elites. In Rome and Greece with "capitalistic" slave labor, economy worked very well. Need more slaves - start a war.
Slavery disappeared in "recent" history when armies became conscript-based instead of mercenary-based. When need of manpower to solve diplomatically-unresolved issues will end and machines do it instead - there will be no reason to let people feel free. It does not mean that the system will resemble old "outdated" slavery but a world in which person will be free to choose his occupation and be able to change his job or location will not have to be existing anymore.

Erm... Ufo's DO exist.

They're called UNIDENTIFIED flying objects.

In other words... flying objects that cannot be identified.

I've seen one too.

Tripe my arse.

i think once you get passed the initial shock of it all you start to become sort of unsuprised that really messed up things are going on behind our backs and right in front of our eyes!

just remember there are some people you can talk to if you feel you want to chat, a lot of the people on here are great, and i know it can be hard trying to discuss the new world order with your nan or something so i guess ats is a kind of therapy group in a way!!

wow, maybe we should ask the mods to create a conspiracy overload rehab section!! i would probably be visiting a few times my self!!

According to Bill Lyne, William Cooper after reading his book decided
that the real conspirators were the government.

He stopped voicing the party line but was too far gone into the
dis info trap.

Cooper could almost tell what the next government move was.

However the science conspiracy escaped him.

Some yes, I don't think that there are reptiles that secretly run the world but the MK-ULTRA experiments are fact read the declassified documents they are available to the public. Do some research on REX 84, look at the Northwoods documents if you want to know what kind of things the government are willing to do. Its not hard to find the information you just have to be willing to read it.

Granted. I saw something flying through the air the other day. I think it was a frisbee, but I didn't have my glasses on so as far as I'm concerned it's a UFO.

Clarification: the belief that we are being visited, instructed, kidnapped, violated and manipulated by beings from outer space/the future/'another dimension' is tripe.

Better?
