Box cutters

Following the September 11th attacks, US government authorities declared that the weapons used to hijack the planes that crashed into the World Trade Centers and Pentagon were plastic knives and box cutters
This despite the fact that there is no evidence of this. No plastic knives survived the impact

This fiction served the purpose of diverting public attention away from the responsibility and legal liability of the government and airlines to prevent major weapons— such as guns, bombs, chemical sprays and hunting knives from being carried aboard airplanes. If such illegal devices had been smuggled aboard the planes, the liability could have amounted to billions of dollars. If on the other hand it could be disseminated that the hijackers had only used plastic knives, such as those provided by the airlines for meals or box cutters which were allowed on planes, neither the airlines nor the screeners at the airport or the FAA (which regulates the safety of airports) could be held legally responsible.

I have often wondered why they chose such a stupid thing as box cutters when they made up the story, but now i finally understand

Yeah there wasn't much that survived those crashes were there?

There's SO much missing! Why can't they just make up another story so I don't have to be so sad for my nation?

Don't get me wrong I believe 9/11 was an inside job, but you keep forgetting that the hijackers told the passengers that they had bombs on board the planes.

Put yourself in that situation and you mind is thinking a million things at the same time, we are all told if someone confronts you and they have a weapon we should do as they tell you in order not to get killed.

There were photos of box cutters found used in court.

Also more box cutters were found in planes after they were grounded that day and searched.

yes these photos were presented in court.. but realistically what were the chances of plastic knives & box cutters surviving an inferno.

Anyway, my point was simply that plastic knives & box cutters were added to the offical story (and presented in court) in order to protect certain orgaisations from possible court action (as mentioned in the link)

Yes i know, i like how they expect anyone with any common sense to believe that half that stuff survived a jet fuel fire and building collaspe.

The media tagged the knives used on 9/11 as "boxcutters" - a generic
term which most people take to mean a razor blade encased in a handle
for slicing box tops. Correct term would probably be "utility" or what are
called "tactical knives" - short bladed knives with a one hand opening
feature. FBI tracked purchases made by terrorists before 9/11 or various
types of knives - Swiss Army, Leatherman, neck knives (knife in sheath
hung by cord around neck) and one hand utility knives.

Several knives were recovered from hijackers vehicles and baggage
which did not make flight (Atta and other hijacker arrived from commuter
flight from Portland Maine and baggage did not make flight)
Parts of knives were recovered from crash site of FLIGHT 93 in
Pennsylvania.

Hijackers were reported to have used pepper spray or MACE on FLIGHT 11
Fake bombs were also reported.

Sometimes even smart criminals leave evidence behind as well.

but magically the so called passports of the so called terrorist

Even terrorists are not infallible. Same for the U.S. military. Are we invincible Ultima? Nobody cannot hit the White House right? Arabs are just too stupid. Look at Iraq, they are losing badly against the U.S. military cause they too stupid. But remember that terrorists can be caught and killed. Getting hit by a Predator drone makes them stupid? I don't know.

Besides that why care about the evidence when you are dead? Think of that. You seen their martyrdom videos and explaining why they hit the U.S. They don't care about the evidence.

They could do things that pilots with 10 times thier training would have a hard time doing. They got away from NORAD. They hit 90% of thier targets witch took almost perfect timming on thier part.

90% don't get me wrong 4 planes, 3 hit their targets 1 didn't, if my maths is any good I would say that was 75%. Where did you get 90% ?

Well the painful lies fed to us about the box cutters was that Barbara Olsen called her husband from Flight 77 explaining the high-jackers used box cutters.As far as I know (and please correct me if I am wrong) but that is the only time boxcutters were mentioned and that story was then preached as gospel.

Now did Barbra use her cell phone or the plane phone was a debate and then we learned that those calls were never made.

But we had lots of other information and warnings before they hit.

Then we find lots of material left behind.

Does it REALLY matter what was left behind? It was a SUICIDE mission? Why is there a discussion about them leaving ANYTHING behind?

They had no plans on hiding their identities, who was behind the planning, and how they were going to do it.
