thanks for doing that.....

i went to the mufon site and there search system requires alot of detailed info to get a particular report. gonna keep tinkering with it.

wishing the maps were interactive.

One interesting point is the number of sightings in the Phoenix area in November. Nearly all of them are of the same type too When a number of different reports are simlar to each other, it makes you wonder what it actually was.

One point to always factor in though, however you are applying these sightings, is not all of them have been investigated, mufon are a little thin on the ground when it comes to field investigators so many reports are raw.

This being said though it is the only data we have to go on

Hello Sherpa great maps and info and as Internos mentiond on his post the correlation between lights and earthquakes are happening in south america also like in Peru most recently with strange lghts before and after the earthqukes and also stories of UFO sightings before and after earthquakes.

Much obliged.

Yes it took me a while to figure it out but what you have to remember is that you do not have to fill in all the fields.
For instance you could search on just the date field.

Keep tinkering you will get there...I did.

Yes and that is an interesting phenomena, certainly worth a little digging but at the moment without doing any research I have this pet theory that piezo electric energy may be involved on account of all that geological pushing and squeezing.

ok i think i got it figured out...

i really like the maps because you can see the different type of encounters that were reported. like i said the sightings of entities is most intriguing for me and they help to weed them out for me ...cool stuff.

here is what i found on that report

Witness Statement from report form #1 ...... "I was in bed. heard drilling grinding noise. I sat up with my feet on the floor and saw 3 men standing in my bedroom with dark shades. I don't know why I wasn't afraid but I got up walked over to them and asked them what they were doing. There was a huge hole in my floor and they were looking down in it. There was very bright light and sounds of people working.....

One of them said they were looking for "fuel for our craft". After I told them to tell me what it is I may be able to help. He said the word antimony and showed me a picture of it on a surface (telepathic). It was a solid irregular shaped substance with the broken edges looking like sand, granular.....

I told them I didn't know what that is and looked over at my bed to see if I was alive or dead. When I looked back the men and the hole were gone.....

My granddaughter asked me later who was I talking to last night.....

After the men left I used the restroom and sat on my bed till the alarm went off trying to think about what had happened....."

The database should provide you with thousands of reports and is a good base for starting any research, well done

NOT INCLUDING the eastcoast of the united states...We're talking Florida, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, and alot of the other northern states that frequently report UFO's...this isn't the whole map!

any mufon maps of the east coast? upwards towards nyc?
i've been looking to the skies of late and am in the clear of sightings, although i do notice peculiar hollowings in clouds of late.

Seems that there are more sightings on the coast line then there are at middle grounds. Could the USO stories be more plausible then that of other planetary beings? It sounds like it. Either that or the aliens are enhancing their tan at the beach.

Maybe on the charts you can look at a specific date corrospondent with google earth and Bam! there is your ufo...

Your map confirms something I've suspected for awhile: ufos like coastlines. Rivers, too (apparently). Maybe they like to fish? Maybe they are interested in the same types of geographical features we would find intriguing on other planets, Mars for instance.

Sherpa and Havalon: i've made some proofs, but by overlapping two maps so big you get a very confused result (it's not a technical problem, simply it's impossible both to read clearly the final result and to have an idea of distances atcetera): it would be much better, in my opinion, to do it divided by state, for many reasons. What's you take on it?

I think this months map is going to get interesting possibly.

Off the Coast of Oregon there have been over 600 earthquakes in the last ten days ranging into the 5. range. Scientist don't know what is causing this swarm because swarms like this normally only occur near volcanos and there isn't a volcano there. It's happening in the Juan de Fuca Plate away from the other major Plates.

Since ufo's frequent these type areas I think it's a good place to keep an eye on.

Fox news is now on saying is there a possibility a major quake is about to hit the West Coast.
