Preparation of Police State? Check this out!

I took this first pic on my camera phone about 3 days ago in a town in Oklahoma. It stretched as far as the eye could see. I apologize for the poor camera quality.




This 2nd one is a much clearer pic that I took from Google to show a much clearer image of what I saw.



So what do you all think? Preparation for a police state in America? Or just transporting hundreds and hundreds of tanks for another reason?

The tanks are tan. And the second pic isn't mine. As I said, I took it from google to give a more clear image of what I saw. The 2nd pic.. again.. is NOT mine.

I watched the train passing me for about 20 minutes. It was going pretty quickly actually. And yeah.. there were at least 200 tanks on the train that passed me. However, I was working when it was passing and as you can tell, it was also raining.

Hence.. I took a pic, not with the intention of posting it here, but just to keep. But I figured since I'm a member on here, I could share and get some thoughts.

I have no idea who owns them. I would assume the US Army? I can't picture them letting other governments transport tanks in our country. But then again.. I'm sure there is a lot going on that I don't know about.

Maybe they are going to ship them overseas.
Arent they getting ready to start a war with Iran,rumor?

I cant imagine where they would get the manpower
for the invasions in the middle east and
for a police state here.

If they declared martial law, where would they get
the manpower? This is a huge country.

That is a possibility. I'm open to that, and would hope it's not for use on our own citizens. However, attacking Iran is completely stupid considering Russia backs them. World War 3 anyone?

As for where they would get the manpower.. I don't think it would be so hard. Have you watched how the police are attacking peaceful protests and so forth? If the government said, "We need you to defend the country. The people are being unruly and we need control.. for the better of the nation" They would act. They would have no choice.

A thought just occured to me as a distinct possibility (other than a police state lol).

An Arms sale perhaps?

calm down....guys its just like cars. after so many miles and bumps the tanks we have now get old and need to be replaced. Good lord...they don't last forever. They are tan, hence desert terrain camo...they are nothing more then a re-supply going to Iraq...and the old ones will be brought back for training or destroyed....or MAYBE sold off to someone.. since we love arms dealers!

Sorry eagle...I didn't mean to come off that you or anyone were saying IT IS a police state action...Just more of a statement overall.

I agree though...if they WERE for that purpose...it would be a bad bad day for America!!

The armored vehicles in the photos are painted tan. This leads me to believe that they are intended. at this time, for overseas deployment in a desert environment.

If they were intended for in CONUS deployment, I would expect a much different camo pattern, considering that only a small part of the US is a desert.

Nothing to see here folks, occaisonally the military and the industries that build armored vehicles have to move them around.

These may be brand new vehicles. The manufacturing plant ships in bulk, not in single units.

furthermore they could have been in storage, not recently constructed, or they could have been shipped for maintenance and painting, and now are being redeployed. to many variables to know for sure.

Btw, before anyone starts shouting "Heh, got you!" or something, i did infact originally think the photos was doctored, but i just wanted to carry on the conversation out of interest in seeing where discussion about the 'police state' got us.

I just happen to think it's the only feasible explanation, other than a rapid heavy armour deployment.

that colored tank is used in desert regions. So your guess will be as good as mine, middle east, Iran is getting a knock knock.

While I won't deny that a police state is already occuring in the U.S. those are M1 Abrams tanks, either brand new, or refurbished old ones. Prolly getting ready to go to the ME.

BTW during Martial Law you will probably see a lot of U.N. vehicles, they are easy to spot because they say U.N. on the side and the dudes in them will have blue helmets on. (they are the ones you will want to shoot at)

That is really funny... the really interesting part is, you're probably right.
