Gov trying to take over airports via American Airlines?

So listening to all the news about these American Airline flights being grounded and then seeing another news article about if the government should take over airlines it makes me wonder if this is all a ploy to get the gov. to control airlines, airports, etc. I would just like to know what the people here at ATS think of this.

Well there is no doubt that we are entering a new era of regulation - of just about everything. Chalk it up to corporate greed. You can't hog the keg and expect the party to last. Some freshman who didn't have fun is gonna call the cops.

They already have control of security and with this executive order it would be the entire airport administration.
