I know the history channel was just in kokomo a month or so ago filming for their show UFO hunters about the sightings and possibly downed object. They contacted me regarding ft. waynes indiana air national guard since I live beside it and know when their jets take off, interesting enough. It seems the kokomo area is getting a lot of attention and rightfully so!

This one from MUFON- quite detailed seen in Warsaw,IN
Case ID: 11818
Log Number: US-07302008-0005
Submitted Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2008 06:29:23 UTC
Event Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2008 02:15:00 UTC
Status: Assigned
City: Warsaw
Region: Indiana
Country: US
Longitude: -85.86109924316406
Latitude: 41.25360107421875
Shape: Sphere,Other
Distance: Over one mile
Entity Type: Unknown

Description:
These event(s) were observed from July 21 through July 25 while driving home from work (Zimmer in Warsaw). While driving home(initial sighting) from work on State Road 25 (south towards Rochester), and about 4-5 miles out of Warsaw and just past the Devil's Backbone (section of road with numerous S curves) caught a glimpse of several orange colored spheres (three of them) in no organized formation to the south of my location, roughly about 25 degree elevation above the horizon. Observed no actual movement except that the spheres were lazily drifting about and in view roughly 10 - 20 seconds then as if someone turned off a switch they were gone. Continue to observe the sky line while driving and about 5 miles down the road again observed again three orange spheres (close to the town of Mentone)again as if someone turned on a switch. Location this time to my orientation again about 25 degrees elevation but more to the south-west and again lasting about 20 seconds and then vanished. The second observation noted that 2 of the spheres were side to side of each other with the 3rd elevated above the other 2 at about 35 degrees elevation from horizon with a slow movement to the west then again vanished. After passing through Mentone and about 3 mile from the intersection of SR 25 and SR 110 again observed the three orange spheres directly to west of my location in a single file formation again about 25 degrees elevation from the horizon but with a noticeable movement to the North. At this point lost sight of the spheres due to heavy tree line and change in driving orientation. These spheres were noted again the next four nights while driving home on the same road and about the same time for each of the following nights usually noted direction to the south - south west. Distance from my point of view to the spheres, in a linear direction, guessed to be about 10 - 15 miles off. Total time spheres observed was over a 20 minute time period for each of the five nights. On all five nights that the spheres were noted, the weather was clear and no clouds noted in the sky, the sun was still noted just about setting to the west. Also noted that there were stars just starting to come into view at the time of observing the spheres. (note these spheres were not stars or planets of any type or size as they were well defined spheres and had no wink effect as a star or planet would have viewing through the atmosphere). Also made note that they were no other aircraft observed to be in the air at the time, because I made an attempt to recognize and look for any form of the typical red/green running lights that aircraft have their wings and noted no bright white light that would be on the tail of an aircraft either. Also observed no contrail, exhaust or wake near or around the spheres. At first thought the lights might of been flares set off by a military aircraft(the type of flares used when heat seeking missiles are fire at them, to try to divert the missile, plus the location to the south is Grissom AFB)but these flares are of a very bright white in color and last for a duration as these were orange (like a pale colored pumpkin)and then just winked out and not just fade out like a flare would. Unable to note any noise or sound from any form of propulsion as I was inside my car driving. These spheres were very similar to ones that I had noted about 3 years while out star gazing with my telescope except for that episode noted that there were four spheres in a formation, that of a trapazoid again noted to the south - south west and moving to west at about 3 - 5 mph. My feelings at the time of the first sighting July 21, was exhilarating to see another UFO as I have seen many in the past. Also brought back things that I had learned in a couple of night courses that I had taken at Vincennes University 67 - 77 presented by J. Sievers and K. Tevorbough, and tried to follow the procedures that they discussed to document these type of sightings.

Hey BP. Now that is some great detail and adds more credibility to the others. Too bad the UFO Hunters team wasn't here that week. It would have been icing on the cake to have had some pics/video of this one. This time frame also coincides with my sister-in-law's sighting. Even though they only saw two "orbs", however, their area of view was minimal because of the trees along the road they were on.

I've already submitted one detailed message, but wanted to try to up-load a picture to you. The first one probably did not work as it was too dark. So I cropped and zoomed in a little.
Four of us saw 2 bright lights in the north sky close to my house. They blinked off, and then 3 appeared, then they blinked off, and then 5 appeared. More like 3 on top, and two under, but forming a circle. I tried to take a picture of the orange one, but just got a streak going up and down. When I zoomed in on that on the back of the camera, after the incident was over......there was about 15 to 20 lights higher up not visible to the naked eye. But I caught it with the camera. They were in a sideways v heading east. I'm a photographer, and take alot of nature lightening shots, rainbows, planes etc. These were totally different.
I used a 300mm lense at 5.6 to get this shot. Hope it comes out this time.

Here is a reference to a video made on the Kokomo sitings back in July by ATS member sequence.
Check out the Orange Ball of Light in IN video
As more reports come in you might have to use MUFON search engine to find
mufoncms.com...

Her description of the event>>
The part I cut out was watching it approach less than 2/10 mile east of me. it appeared as a amber solid light approaching and then it started to blink. It slowly came west and I thought it would go down neighbors yard like most do. I could tell it was watching me, because it drifted past the telephone pole on my side of the road, and I knew it was going to check me out. It came within 100 feet? and was above my creek maybe 75 feet hovered. I was scared and watched it through viewfinder of camera. I watched as it turn on light to show a seperation of windows and then it turned on a whole light that was contained within. I kept my other eye closed, because I was so focused on trying to get steady shot, and was terrified at first. I then felt like it just wanted me to know that he was taking my picture too and a feeling of love overtook my fear. It drifted down my creek and went behind my sycamore tree and I lost him for awhile. Can you see where it shows a division of lights before it turns to solid light? My first instinct is, it was a disc. I really don't know. I just felt love emitting, after the fear subsided. This is not the first time it visited me. It appeared as a amber ball that circled my pine tree and got so excited that it scared me and I mentally told him to back off.

The blinking light was all I could see for awhile. If I was to guess, I would say 25 to 30 diameter. Not really sure. I may be late answering questions till week-end. Another issue I had was, I was thinking it was possible this thing changed while observing me. My ears were popping and plugged feeling like when barometric pressure changes. My hair was static feeling. The first time I saw it, my camera got static while filming and I had lines in looking through viewfiner. I don't think it showed up on film.My low battery signal came on but I was on AC, my setting of infinity changed. It might have been coincidence.

Hey BP and thanks to you and sequence for getting this posted.

Sequence, what an experience and I hope that you are well. The footage is excellent, thanks for taking the time to get it on tape. It's amazing that you felt that 'they were taking your picture'. That is exactly what my sister-in-law felt. I guess the only question that I have is if there was any noise at all? I presume not, but just wanted to be clear on that.

Does anyone have an idea of Indy's Mufon stand on all of this? Maybe more clarity on that at the meeting this weekend.

Kokomo was a hotbed again on July 22-23.

There were sitings in Lafayette, Battleground and Kokomo. Several at a time. I'd like to see this daylight video mentioned >>

Orange balls of light two nights in a row

. On 7/23/08 my wife, brother-in-law and myself were having coffee on our deck. I noticed an orange ball of light and said “Hey, what is that”? My wife and brother turned to see the OBOL (Orange ball of light) just as it was fading away. It was in the NE sky just above tree level but couldn’t tell how far away it was. We talked about it for a few minutes and we saw more lights. They didn’t move they would just fade in and stay on for about 5 -7 seconds then fade out. My wife called in to our 19 yr old son and his girlfriend and told them to come out and take a look. They both came out and we saw a set of two lights. One came on then the second. Once the second had reached its peak in brightness the first one faded out then the second faded. I said that it looked like it was only a mile or so away and I was going to drive in that direction to see what I could see. As I got over by Wainwright middle school my wife yelled into the cell phone that there was another one. I put my head between the steering wheel and the windshield of the car and it was directly above me. That one actually had a secondary light that split way from the original ball. Just before I left the house my son was getting his video camera and caught a few sets of lights on his digital video camera. He got a series of three lights just behind the tree line and the light that was over my car. The video shows the second OBOL splitting off the first one. The light I saw above my car would have bigger than my car if it had been on the ground. I was directly under that one. There were about 6 different sets of lights that night. Some had only one, some had two and a few had three. There were 5 witnesses for the 23rd of July 2008. We saw tiny white non flashing pin lights flying all over the area where we had seen the OBOL. After we had seen the first two lights my Brother-in-law said “Look at that little white light flying after that airliner. He’s going to hit it!!!” It flew VERY fast and caught up with the airliner and fl! ew just above it until it was out of the area then peeled back and SHOT towards the east where it had came from. The very last light we had seen (I was back home by now) there we two pin point white lights closing in on the OBOL from both sides and when it disappeared the two tiny white lights shot straight up into the air nearly colliding and shot towards the north. In total there were about 4 pin lights while this was all going on. The OBOL showed up every 4-5 minutes in different areas in the NE sky. It was 22:40 when we saw the last one and went in to see if there was anything on the news.

On July 24th my wife and I had to work the next morning so she went to bed and told me to wake her if I had seen anything. Right on time 22:30 the first one showed up. I ran inside got my wife and this time my daughter was home and I had her come out on the deck to watch. The lights looked the same but were in a different pattern. This time there we several lights coming on at the same time in different parts of the NE sky. On both nights if all lights would have been on they would have formed a perfect horizontal line spanning about a 5-7 mile stretch. My wife called my mother who lives in Clarkshill and her and my brother went outside and saw them. The next day I called my friend who is a police officer and he said he saw them too and had no idea what they were. So on this night we had 5 witnesses in three different parts of the county who saw them. My wife thought she saw one way off in the distance around the Delphi area, but it was too far away and she couldn’t be sure

Sorry for posting late, have been sick. I took film for 2 nights straight. Mufon rep has the movie. He said there is 10 to 12 un-explained items on film. I took film of known and unknown objects because I could visually see the OBOL's screwing around with the known objects. Some was captured. The short clip presented was not good. I am not a photographer. It was shot around 2;00 a/m. and I must admit, I was terrified at first. I was hanging outside my window filming. It was extreme quiet, no traffic, my road is shut down for major construction and this object presented no noise what-so-ever. I am anxious to see if Mufon can see what this object was. It was interesting to say the least. All I can say, it was not a plane or helicopter. If it was, then we have a whole different discussion of what our military has or capable of in a small amount of space with trees surrounding a creek bed.I filmed this object for 3.07 minutes. before I lost sight behind my sycamore tree. I had to cut it down so that I could send as an attachment in Yahoo mail. Tried to upload film on Photobucket, but kept getting a (AD xml invalid error). I really don't know what this refers to. Still learning how to function to some degree navigating and using programs for the internet. I'll get there eventually.

Hi sequence and no apologies necessary. I hope that you are feeling better. Thanks for all that you had to endure to get your video up and get all the info to mufon. I thought that it was a great peice of footage. Your sightings are fascinating, and I can't believe the number of sightings still coming in from that area. Did you hear that there were sightings here in Greenwood....I missed them...of course.

Here's my feeling. If all of this activity IS military then surely with all of the reports that have been filed from northern Indy someone would have said "hey, I saw those lights and heard the planes/choppers that they were attached to, case closed". But that's not the case, huh?

I'm in central Indiana and I saw a ufo about two weeks ago around 3am. It was unlike anything I have ever seen in the sky before. Sightings in Indiana are definitely pretty common right now. I'm headed outside right now to go for a walk and keep my eyes on the skies. take care community

Indiana MUFON meeting in Kokomo took place Aug 16. The main focus was the April 16 Kokomo- boom/flaming object falling from the sky issue. Investigators were on the scene the following morn. They interviewed a couple hundred people. Most heard the boom. A smaller number saw something flaming falling from a larger object. They said most reports supported each other well. They had the dispatch reports which directed one first responder to switch to a secure channel. One witness to the whole event described seeing these multicolored light segments just before the boom and firey object came into his field of view.
Booms, OBOL reports continue. The case is not closed. The investigators discussed witness reports of unmarked white and black vehicles which arrived on the scene within minutes of whatever went down. These vehicles were accompanied by get this ...a Walmart trailor. Grass and field showed signs of multiple vehicles being on roadside. One investigator said she went back to the site and found it scraped..
First responders were directed not to talk about this...due to gag order in place. Some may know what actually happened. ATS member sequence video of that night was shown. Hopefully that summarizes the relevent info presented.

This one is in Northern In. More and more witness are talking about triangles in association with the OBOLs also several accounts of lights morphing.

I was a passenger driving in a typical family van with the big slider door window next to me heading East bound on the Indiana 80/90Tollway from Illinois Tristate 294 to a small town in Michigan not far from the Indiana border. At first I noticed a small white light the size of a beach ball off in the distance low near a water tower. I kept watching it and thought it may be a helicopter or some sort of pole light. I kept wathcing it and it was moving slowly very low. I saw no sudden movements, Faa lights, markings, windows, structure. As we got closer to the light I saw it was even with us in the vehicle and I saw the light just slowly move in front of this water tower not far from the tollbooths. As I watched it slowly just disappeared. I did not think more of it. Then as we drove and a few several minutes passed I saw a white light low to the ground in the field next to me. I then saw this light move to the tree. Again, this object was so low to the ground I could not be an aircraft. Again there was no FAA lights, markings, structure, noise. I watched and the light just disappeared again. Then we were driving through alot of trees as we got out of the heavy trees I saw the full moon with a white light right in front of it on an angle very close to the ground. This light almost looked like it was suntanning itself in front of the moon. Both were the same bright white color. Please note there also was a planet(venus?) to the right of the moon throughout this whole drive and was basically the same color. But it never moved because it was a planet. This light was a pure pearl white and It was not an advertising light. This time I took pictures with my digital camera of what I could in this moving van. Then several minutes later I saw what I can only describe as a bright almost firey orange/red orb that kind of looked bell shaped moving slowly out of nowhere over on the side of the road. I watched and waited for flashing FAA lights, noise, structure, sudden movements. Again nothing happened except that this light just slowly hovered and went down into the side of the road tree lines. Again, I took a picture with my digital camera. Then we we somewhere near South Bend or Mishwaka, Mile Marker 77 or so. Whatever this area it is very residential and commerical. When I looked over the rooftops of the houses from the road I saw what I can only saw what looked like a huge boomerang or triangle type craft hovering right over the rooftops. It seemed to have some sort of tubular metallic structure with several lights of red, green, blue, yellow, orange. This craft was not whole like a commercial airplane, it seemed to be in parts almost like a kids jungle gym. When I saw this I freaked out because it was so low and our car was almost above it on the Tollway. It was also so close to us that it thought this cant be unless this plane was crashing. In my mind I think this and then there is another smaller craft next to it about half the size. Again, this was too close for another plane to be probably 500 feet and low over the rooftops. It had a similar structure with lights as well. No noise, no flashers, blinkers, windows, markings.I dont remember if I got pictures of this because it happened so suddenly. Then as we drove again I saw a firey orange/red bell shaped orb start out of nowhere over from the other side of the road from the traffic on the other side. This orb slowly made its way to my side of the road and then slowly continued to move towards us. Then it slowly started to discend into the trees at about Mile Marker 85. Please note pictures were taken by me. The family is used to me taking picture anywhere and anytime so not alot of fuss was made about it. Also because we had a handicapped child with us on this trip and could not bring the real attention to the matter except to one other family member who confided in me seeing something as well.

I live on the south side of Indianapolis, and I have been going outside every night at about 10:30 just to see what I can see, and I must say I witnessed quite a few things I coulnd't identify. One of the first nights that I started going out (I have been doing this for about 2 months now) I saw 7 different things in the air within 40 min time spane, they were everywhere!!! The only time I haven't seen anything is when its cloudy.
Just start paying attention, youll see them too....LOOK UP just as a side note If you live in and around Indy, you get used to seeing planes of all shapes and sizes, these are not airplanes!

Hi BP
. Thanks for updating this thread with the info. as I am sure that there are many interested members.

I presume that this is not related to the UFO Hunters team that also investigated in Kokomo? The UFO Hunters season starts Oct. 29, but no schedule has been posted yet.

This will be interesting to see how they swing the military explanations.
