A New World Order, the inevitable outcome?

This is an idea that has been in my mind for the past week or so. I have started thinking about all this NWO talk I hear around the board and to me it seems like the creation of this NWO is impossible to prevent. As the world gets smaller and smaller, where is there to go but closer together.

Looking far enough into the future shows that having one government to govern the world looks like the best and most convenient option to most people. Most people being the ones who cannot see the harm that comes with such a thing. Look at it from someone else's perspective. Why not have just one large government with a few smaller localized ones? Wouldn't it bring the world closer together?

Eventually all the smaller governments will become one if the people so choose. Although I may see it as inevitable that at some point we will all come together as one, we can at least hope it isn't corrupt and tyrannical. Sadly we have all heard the quote, "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."

What are your thoughts on this topic? I'll add more of my thoughts in later, but I'm in a rush now and it is hard for me to put my jumbled rushed thoughts into more eloquent words

What sort of New World Order is inevitable?

Can you provide details?

It is a more hypothetical scenario. I'm talking about this NWO that every talks about on all these forums. Is it not inevitable that after enough time, the people of the world will want to throw down their differences and come together as one powerful entity?

If something like that happened, then it would be mighty easy for a corrupt official on the inside of the world government to take control and plant the seed of corruption.

I suppose what I really want to know is if you think a New World Order, the kind that is feared and loathed by all, could come out of peoples natural desire to come together as one.

There are many types of new world orders.

So which one are you talking about?

i agree that the world will unite under one government (mostly do to my christian belifs), but i dont think we as a world will be united by this action. if that makes any sence?.

corruption in all governments has existed since government has, and with out a major reform of human nature happens, i for one dont think that will ever change. much like i dont think human nature will change. after all it is our nature...

I'm proposing a project that all anti-NWOers can participate in. Below is a draft of an email, that can be sent to members of Congress, along with a couple of links, one of which is a website that has email links to senators and congressmen. The other link is to Invisible Patriots, which has a lot of very interesting information. On it, I discovered that for every letter or email that a senator or congressman gets, the perception is that 13,000 other people share that view but couldn't be bothered to write about it. So...if 1,000 of us send the email below to our congressional representatives(both senators and congressmen), that will be perceived at representing the views of 13,000,000 people. 10,000 emails would translate into 130,000,000 concerned citizens. Do you think maybe senators and congressmen of both parties would pay attention if they thought 130 million citizens wanted them to do something, especially with elections coming up soon? I think it's worth a try. I'm asking anyone who sees this post, to copy and paste it in other threads that relate to 9/11, NWO, conspiracies, etc. Let's get as many ATS readers as possible involved in emailing Congress. Here's the letter that I suggest should be sent.

Senator/Congressman:

It's time that Congress fulfilled it's obligation to protect the civil liberties of the American People from those who would subvert the Constitution. As one of your constituents, I demand that you do the following immediately:
1) Set up a truly independent and well-funded commission to investigate the events of September 11th, 2001, without restrictions on the scope of the investigation.
2) IMMEDIATELY repeal the Homeland and Patriot Acts as well as any other legislation that violate civil liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
3) IMMEDIATELY declare null and void any and all Executive Orders or other Presidential directives, that a) violate the Constitution, b) usurp powers that properly belong to the Legislative Branch of government or c) exceed the authority of the Office of the President that has been specifically granted to it by the Constitution.
4) Warn the President AND the military establishment, that only Congress has the right to declare Martial Law or a State of Emergency and that the military MUST NOT obey any orders from the Executive Branch, under a declaration of Martial Law/State of Emergency that has not been approved by Congress.

With the November elections coming up fast, my willingness to vote for you and other candidates from your party, will depend on how you and other members of your party respond to these concerns.

One government wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the evil trying to run the whole thing from the top.

If you think you don't have a voice in your government now, just wait until it blends with another 6 billion people around the globe...

What makes you so convinced that any kind of larger world government overstructure would automatically be evil? Where do you get that notion? Science fiction?

The world is getting smaller all the time, and there's a point at which it's just not feasible or fair for the superpowers like the U.S. and China to have to bear the burden of coordinating and standardizing trade and communications protocols, tracking global resources, and responding to climatic catastrophes to avoid lingering social upheaval and potential conflict over scarce resources. And there needs to be an organization with enough force available to bring organizations in line with these efforts, because even relatively small disruptions can cause huge problems for millions of people.

An NWO may be the only way to avoid massive starvation, refugee movements and global conflict once the population nears the carrying capacity of the planet.

The "New World Order" theory that current world leaders clearly subscribe to is "New World Order" by H.G. Wells.

Dick Cheney and Bush themselves were even credited with quotes when in reality they pulled them directly from this book, word for word.

You can read the book online for free, takes about 20-30 minutes just google it "New World Order by H.G. Wells".

Every American citizen will have to make a choice, The Constitution (Old Ways) or A New Way. If you want to know why your politicians and economy are doing what they're doing, its because they are following A New World Order playbook step by step.

I do agree with the original poster and what the book says that if you look at social and economic cycles, it does seem that this is the next step forward and will happen sooner or later regardless. Since World War I, this is now the 3rd attempt at creating a world government.

You also will find a wealth of information that support this from the following: Council on Foreign Relation, United Nations, World Economic Council, Tragedy and Hope by Dr. Caroll Quigley (mentor to Bill Clinton), A New World Order by H.G. Wells, Communist Manifesto by Carl Marx.

How about real life? We can't even control our federal politicians now. Do you remember the missing 2.3 trillion at the pentagon? How about the significant portion of the 360 tons of cash flown to Iraq that went missing? How about the massive, overt fraud occuring among contractors in Iraq? Surprise, surprise -- nobody in government or the media seems to care.

Now imagine the corruption that would result from giving this criminal trash 1000 times more power. It would most likely resemble the reign of Nero or Caligula (sans orgies).

It's not a place I would want to live. How about you?
