You've just deconstructed your own argument. For Christians Jesus Christ is the Supreme Being and you do submit to him.

You're twisting my words around. I have always told you that I submit myself to my lord and savior Jesus Christ. However, I refer to him as Jesus Christ openely and not just some supreme being into question.

There's nothing wrong with that! I often find myself getting wrapped up in some of the shows like UFO Hunters, Monster Quest, and the Bermuda Triangle theories. It's all in good fun and imagination!

I am still waiting for a cogent reply to Josh Norton's question in this post. I would be curious to here your response to this instead of addressing it with further questions or skirting the queery alltogether.

So you and Josh are suggesting that God would marry Mary Magledon? Why?

No one suggested anything, there was a question posted to you. It does not appear to me to be a very diffcult queery to answer. Is there a reason why you continue to avoid replying to his post?

LOL no reason at all brother. My answer is that God would not marry nor have sexual relations with one of his own children. Just because Jesus hung out with her and she was referred to as the one he loved does not mean anything beyond that. Anything beyond that is based on theory and not the truth.

I may be jumping into something way above my head here, but I am curious.

Last I knew, Jesus Christ was the son of God, and not God. So are you now saying Jesus Christ is God? Because you keep mentioning why would God molest his kids, why would God marry his kids?

I may be a little naive in all the discussions but this really caught my eye.

As well as the simple observation of the "truth" just because you believe it to be so, does not make it the truth.

Ever play the telephone game? You know where there is a group of people and they tell a story on one ond of the line and pass it to the other end. And the story never is the same. I am supposed to believe after 2000 years of story telling that we actually have any real semblence of what happened?

Oh, and btw I am considered a Catholic. Try thinking this way in a Catholic environment. Talk about deny ignorance!!! And I am also proud to say I am an Entered Apprentice.

Heck maybe I am just all screwed up...LOL!

What is to say that god would not have sex with one of his children. He lets his priests have sex with children, apparently he does not care to much if a priest molests a kid so i think that it is plausible for him to have sex with one of his own.

Surprise! God can do things that we can't, he can be in more then one place at any time hence, the son of God. The Holy Trinity is the son, the father, and the Holy Spirit. All of it referring to God. Jesus Christ (God) had to set the example, hence the son of man. It is hard to comprehend, even for Christians and I don't blame you for thinking the way that you did.

Wow. Now I am really confused.

So God is God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

I am beginning to think all those years in Catholic school were wasted.

To play devil's advocate...don't you just love that term...

Since I can't seem to find any reference anywhere that God is Jesus, and much less that God is the Holy Spirit can you provide some sort of reference that show's this.

Because I am just thinking, it would save a lot of time when making the sign of the cross...In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit if I could just say in the name of God.

Listen to what you are saying (in your heart). You are acting on emotions right now, don't. I'm not trying to start anything here, I am only trying to get people to understand. What you said is far away from the truth. Think about it, if God is a true God then why would he do something that is impure? He would not. Don't blame God for the wrong paths that persons choose in rebelluous spite of God. Be aware that we are here for a purpose and that purpose is to devour the dark prince and his agents that rome this world, for now. Think about it, When you get to heaven, are you going to want to come back to this world of pain now that you have a heightened awareness of it? Not me, I am going to run with the lions and be happy. I am going to sing and praise my lord all of the time non-stop. Are you a Christian? If not, then what faith are you? If you have a bible, I may I suggest that you read Corrintians 13:13. Trinityman suggested it to me earlier and it explains alot of what God is about. So regardless of weather you acknowlege whomever it is as your faith then at least read it for the spiritual philosophy because that's what God cares most about anyway. Although, it would be nice for persons to acknowlege him.

That's one of the things that I do commend the Christian Masons on big time is the high regard for the spiritual philosophy. It just bugs me that Jesus Christ is not getting the credit or the glory for it,

Thank you whitecastle for that. But I want to state that I am not here to boast that I am right and somebody else is wrong. I no longer have that fight in me! I simply just want other unique persons to understand. So tlshark, please don't feel like you've been defeated in anyway shape of form about it. Just let the light shine in brother!

Matthew is also very good by the way. All of it is!

Thank you for that passage. And I did go read it. I don't see anywhere in there that it says God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one and the same.

In fact there is a passage:

17Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' "

Which to me reads pretty clearly that they are not the same.

Anyway, I believe this has gotten off of the OP topic. So I will defer...

Imagine to think I have 3 cousins who are Catholic priests and 2 deacons in the family and I never knew they were all the same.

That's because it is all metaphorically speaking so that we could understand the method to his madness. Actually now that I think about it, read the final prayer in John. In there it does state that Jesus and his father are one in the same.

Well, this is all Trinitarian doctrine, the godhead is unified, distinct parts. It's something very difficult for a mortal mind to grasp. I only have a hazy conception of it all.
