Was Saddam an alien/ufo beleiver

i was looking through google earth for unusual sites and found this in iraq, it is described in wikipedia as a Monument to the Unknown Soldier

looks kind of like the flying saucer from the day the earth stood still film, also just north of the monument is a funny shaped plane park, it looks like a crop circle from above, was this intentional ??

Looks like a dustbin lid to me...

Which, come to think of it, would be a fitting display of Saddam's attitude towards his unknown soldiers, no?

"Pfft, throw them in the dustbin of history, I have Kurds to gas."

Now that he's been relegated to the same, and his country is currently occupied by foreign invaders, maybe they could just rename it: "Monument to the Countless Dead and Injured Due to Bush's War."
