My bad UFO? pic

Hello everyone,this is my first thread to post so hope I'm doing it right.I'm a former U.S. Marine,55 years old,and am from Alabama.I was driving on a wide 4 lane road doing 40 mph on 3/23/08 when I saw a strange sight.In the middle of the road about 2000-3000 feet up there was a white line about 2 inches tall and 6-8 inches long.(no smart a$$ remarks lol).It was just sitting there,no wings,rotor,tail,etc.,just a white line.It didn't look round,cigar,oval or anything.Just a white line.It happened so fast and I wasn't ready but I grabbed my cell phone to take a pic and it wasn't in the middle any longer but had moved to the right and higher up.I just held the phone to the windshield and took a pic not knowing if I got anything or not.The object is between the lamp post and the power pole above the second power line.I hope the experts on here can enlarge,sharpen or make it a little clearer.I went back to the same exact place to see if anything was on the power line about an hour later and there wasn't.Thank you guys, if anyone can do it yall can.Or I can be the new village idiot here .lol Thanks again.

Oh yeah, I do see it. But it looks like a knick in the windshield. My mom's SUV has a knick that was sealed and it looks just like that. Had you got out of your car and taken the picture, I would say it sounds convincing, but the fact that bugs, debris, dirt, etc. could be on your windshield kind of make it seem unreal. Also, IDK about this, just an idea that came to me...could it be energy coming from the power wires?

It is in the triangle formed by the bar holding the lamp and the wooden pole. Look above in the wires. It is a brown circular spot.

No it is actually a fairly new windshield and the object was moving at the time.I know it's a crappy picture but I was hoping someone could enlarge,etc.Thanks for the reply.

In the upper left of the pic there are more brown spots. Wonder if it is just something on the glass.

I may be not actually looking at what the OP is describing but it does seem to be the spot reading the post.

Do you have the original image straight from the phone itself? ...a higher resolution photo would certainly help.

I blew it up in photoshop and honestly, it looks like dirt on the windowshield....just like the other dirt spots that are in the picture.

I dont think anyone can tell you what you saw....as we didnt see it. But I dont think that the spot in question is anything but dirt.

Just my opinion

Interesting picture. Upon examination I found these other anomalies to ponder.








1- Depicts three targets. They appear circular in nature.


2- Is the object that you witnessed. Also appears circular.



Conclusion: As with most pictures to date, the grain and resolution in this pic, basically renders it impossible to positively identify or even speculate as to the nature of the objects in question.

Your presents of mind to even try and take a picture of what you witnessed earns you a star from me. Keep up the good work.

12m8,I had my son send the pic from the phone to my e-mail address,I then opened a photobucket account and sent the pic from there.I don't know how to post it directly,sorry. Thanks guys and gals for the replies,wish I had taken it quicker when it was in the middle of the road,just not enough time only 5 seconds or so.

I wonder about UFO photo envy. I wonder if other sites compete with ATS. How many users on other sites might have the exact same user name as ssrs69camaro. Say at UFOCasebook perhaps? I wonder if this photo is there?
