Ok another example... would you even bother going to work... eating... sleeping, talking to people at all in this physical reality if all of a sudden you had like a concious lucid dream...or "lucid life"... All of a sudden you become a god... you have everything you need... you are free to roam the universe.

Erm yes I probably would..the reason being I do not understand this physical reality. I may be some god of everything in my lucid world that understands absolutley everything ( which would be very boring wouldn't it, what would be the point of existing in it?) but as I say I still understand very little about my physical world so yes even if I were a lucid god Id still come back to the physical realm to learn.

I doubt I'll ever get to the point in LD/AP where I can just roam the Universe, can anyone do this? Can you say before dreaming /AP right I want to go to...say Mars tonight? I can't even work out how to LD so Mars is whey off my skill.

Next time I do LD I will ask myself what it is Im learning though, good point caveman.

Actually, my first Lucid dream was me flying and I have a tip that I found worked very well (well, worked first 2 times, hasn't worked since, but I THINK its from environmental influences, not the technique). What was so strange about this Lucid dream and the reason I believe it developed into an 'astral projection' was my interaction with my physical self.

First, you have to REALISE you are in a dream, this realisation is the door if you will. Once you have realised you are in a dream, you can control it at will and this can be used to train your mind. I pictured a tree from my childhood (anything really, but I though of this tree), the tree appeared alot bigger than it should be, and with the realization nof the size difference, it immediatley reduced to the size it should be (I think I was remembering it as a child, alot shorter than I was at time of dream).

Once I realised the possibility of this, I instantly thought of flying...and then I was. This is the part that that 'enlightened' me, I decided I should fly and see myself, sleeping. I was instantly flying over my row of houses, but just as I flew over my body (still above the house, but I realised I was over my body) I woke up with a huge start, I mean bolt upright, wide awake with a vivid memory of everything. Took me a while to get back to sleep and I have only been able to lucidly dream one other time (been about 4-5 years now).

I have had extremely vivid and a few 'prophetic' dreams since, but sometimes the meaning of these are really distorted and I don't have a dream diary so they dissapate with time

I want to start meditating and found this thread, been incredibly helpful and I thank you all.

Have you ever read the tablets of Thoth? despite whether they were written by Thoth makes no never mind, I think you'd find the symbology in the chapters fascinating, especially as he talks about meditation.

This is one of the main reasons I feel I need to start meditating, been a subconcious craving for a while now, but I just haven't bothered (more shame me). The words have many different layers and will be read diferently in various states of mind (perception?) and I would really like your opinion on them (as your experience with meditation is alot more profound and therefore will have a better perception of it), as well as P81 and anyone else who is willing to read them.

I am going to start meditating soon, but I don't know when, we'll have to see.

Yes someone/one can do that tonight if they want. Also you're right, if you think you won't be able to do something, you won't. So if you want to actually LD and AP like no-other, you have to believe in yourself or you're wasting your time and kidding yourself. Self acceptance is the biggest key to all of this, through it we can release our fears that inhibit our growth.

Yes shakesbeer I did tell myself that i would have a lucid dream that night and looks like it worked.

Thats right you really have to accept you can do it. If there is any doubt then it will not work like Shaksbeer said. People may look at our experiences and think "I wish I could do that" You do not need to wish for anything you just have to find it within yourself. Also remember not to want it to happen, Accept it can and will happen and take it at one step at a time.

Things may happen and you may think "Well it only happened once or twice so it must be a couincidence"
Once you get past the noise of your mind things are no longer a couincidence.

Take note of what has changed and how you feel, how others around you change also. So many people talk to me about problems however small they are, they trust me through there own inner instinct. Thats because we all share this connection of energy.

I noticed a young lad at work yesterday with his head down "Whats wrong" I said. He replied "My dog has died I have had him for 17 years" I said "It must of been a good 17 years" he looked at me and smiled. I told him to go speak with the boss, I said he will unserstand and will probbabily let you leave early. Then next time I sas him was when he left the building.

Today he was sort of hanging around with me and he looked a lot happier. Even though his Dog (Part of his family) had passed on he remembered all the good feeling he shared with it.

The message to him basically was. Don't cry because it's gone, Smile because it happened.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make a huge difference so try not to look for complications.

I think the only sure thing in all this is just to carry on with meditation, it is the key to unlocking all of these experiences within us. The more tuned in we become with it the more we learn.

Hey Ms. Green, Thoth was the Egyptian god, also regarded as hermes in Greek writing, i think that he is also prometheus, giving of "fire" (technology/knowledge?) to the humans.

They were apparently found a few decades back by a Dr. Doreal, heres a brief explanation.

p.s. In the text, it refers to Thoth as the 'SUN of GOD'. Now this is just my interpretation, but I saw SUN as a title, like a teacher, he illuminates the world with knowledge, but at times it also sounds like he's talking about ZPE! you'll see what I mean about all the double entedres, maybe even triple!

Yes I do 100% accept I can do these things, its just sometimes Im too tired or just don't feel able to reach this level of spirituality and self belief. Do you feel like this sometimes? These experiences are so out of the ordinary I don't think you can or possibly should think you can achieve them every day. When I feel like this I sometimes think Im failing or slipping but I think its only normal not to feel enlightened all the time.

Have you looked at Paul's glossary lately?

Sorry arcon and andros for laughing I know I don't understand fully all this wedding thing ...but its just cheered me up no end. Congratulations by the way I really do wish you well. Since leaving TSOL I have understood alot more about what exactly you were all about, its a shame you can't be a bit more open at the start. If I joined now my knowledge would make me your equal and this I don't think would work.

OMG how you found that I'll never know. I see Andros has 625 trillion elder points, how well he has done. It is probably this that has led to the pre ascending to rise to 625. I feel he must be very happy in TSOL knowing this but why he feels he has to marry Arcon is beyond my understanding.

I have stopped laughing now lol but yes its seems they are doing well.
They could have invited a few old friends along don't you think kappo! I would have gone wouldn't you I have the ability to go now.

Erm no..it actually says there were a number of marridges, Andros TO Arcon I think you'll find.

Andros was one of my best friends (at least I thought) and he never made me his friend, but I felt I was his friend so yes Id have liked an invitation actually.

The start of the paragraph is 'Prior to birth..' the whole paragraph is this:

It says that there were a number of marriages THERE at the OASIS. (Prior to birth.)
