The Kingdom 'Braces for Nuclear War'

www.presstv.ir

Saudi Arabia is reportedly preparing to counter any 'radioactive hazards' which may result from a US strike on Iran's nuclear plants.

Popular government-guided Saudi newspaper Okaz recently reported that the Saudi Shura Council approved of nuclear fallout preparation plans only a day after US Vice President Dick Cheney met with the Kingdom's high ranking officials, including King Abdullah.

The building of the nuclear power plant in Bushehr
has taken over 30 years... it began in the 1970s
as a project between the West and the Shah of Iran.
With assistance from the US, Germany would build
the nuclear power plant in Bushehr... Germany and
France would provide the nuclear material.

Then came the Islamic revolution which stopped
the construction when it was 90% complete...
there was a fire... then came war with Iraq...
Iraq bombed it several times and destroyed it.
And, finally came the agreement with Russia to
rebuild the plant and supply the nuclear material.

Last I heard... the Bushehr power plant would
be operational sometime this year.

The Israelis have said many times they will destroy it.
Or, maybe they will get Bush to do it for them ?

Delay after delay has prevented the Bushehr nuclear
power plant from being completed... and now that the
Bushehr nuclear power plant is almost finished... again...
are we ?!

It's the "Oh #!" Moment on Iran

**

Well, we just got our "Oh #!" moment with the just-announced resignation of Admiral William J. Fallon, the military commander of US Middle East operations.

Adm. Fallon, 63, famously said that an attack on Iran would not happen "on my watch," and is widely believed to have already threatened, along with a number of other top generals and admirals, to quit the service if the Bush administration were to launch an air attack on Iran.

The message that Fallon's farewell and Cheney's arrival sends to Teheran

Jerusalem Post
Mar 13, 2008
pg. 9

**

" Others are reading even more significance into the vice president's trip. After leaving Israel, [Dick Cheney] journeys to Saudi Arabia and Oman - the latter the site of four air force bases strategically situated on the Straits of Hormuz, right across from Iran, and regularly used by the US military for refueling, supply storage and logistics. Both nations would play key roles in the run-up to any military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, and the timing of Cheney's visits there, combined with Fallon's farewell, has raised red flags in Washington and elsewhere that they may be signs Bush has taken a strategic decision to move against Teheran before leaving office. Yes, yes. I know this. I can feel it in my bones. This time, the time is short. I can feel it in the whole of my being and i have been meaning to start a thread about the emminent danger.

This time i can really feel it in my soul.

There is even more to this than is realized.

The Bushehr nuclear power plant is located within
the ancient kingdom of Elam... where God placed
His throne [ the Ark of the Covenant ] after the
Babylonians and Edomites destroyed the Temple
in Jerusalem.

The atom is God's building block for creating the
planet... man has manipulated the atom to destroy
the planet.

Building a nuclear power plant is like setting a nuclear
time bomb !

God does not want this abomination [A-bomb-A-Nation]
that makes desolate to stand in His holy place !

My predictions for how things may play out in the middle east.

1. Nuclear material is distributed across isreal by means of a dirty bomb.
2. Hezbola will claim responsibly.
3. All of Isreal and the west bank will have to be evacuated or the radiation will prove fatal.
4. Experts asses the level of pollution will state Israel and the west bank unliveable for at least 150 years.
5. Investigation of what material was used and where it came from will begin.
6. Iran accused and military build up off the Iranian border becomes intense.
7. USA cut Iran’s Internet cables and Jams Radio and TV
8. Iran strikes first and sinks a naval vessel with suicide gun boats.
9. USA retaliates and is drawn into a battle.
10. NATO will try for diplomacy immediately but will be far too late as Iran tries to launch missiles at western interests.
11. USA / UK Deploy their new laser missile net and wipe out 90% of all Iran’s missile launches.
12. 10% of Iran’s Missiles land in Iraq and Q8.
13. Oil field contaminated in Iraq. - Oil Price reaches $150 a barrel
14. World economy takes a massive global dive.
15. USA Considers marshal law as people begin to panic buy.
16. A nuclear incident occurs in a major USA city...
17. Nuclear weapons passed for use by congress.
18. Nuclear weapons cleared for use by the British Government
19. Nato warned of raised nuclear global threat by China and Russia.

You think it would take TWO nuclear events for the US to strike back with nuclear arms?

I reckon they'd jump at the chance to let off a hot one!

You are saying that Iran might be cut of completely by US and that Iran would attack first?
That is contradicting statement. As you pointed out Iran WAS attacked by USA because they are effectively cut off from the rest of the world by unilateral decision yet again by the country which is not attacked or threatened by Iran.
That is attack in itself and Iran has no option but to retaliate.
So, USA retaliates in defense and gat sucked into the war does not hold water because they attacked first so only Iran can retaliate in self defense.
NATO never tried diplomacy because they are military organization not political and corrupt politicians already started unjust war therefore that doesn't make sense.
Obviously zionists and some others factions want this war very badly to expand israeli conquered territories under "self defense" pretense.
I hope that whoever starts this war dies of the most excruciating and prolonged disease.
This is not a war on a terrorism and it never was. It is war waged against EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US!
They are bombing every single country that opposes US domination and their true masters!

There's a difference between bracing for nuclear war and nuclear fallout. I strongly suspect the powers-that-be will do everything possible to avoid nuclear strikes on surface targets. The point would be to eliminate the Iranian government, not make the home of yet another imperial colony uninhabitable. This can be accomplished with conventional weapons. But I'd still have some iodide tablets handy, just in case.

Nuclear power plants are nuclear time bombs.

The Saudis are preparing for radiation resulting from a
conventional attack on Iran's new nuclear power plant at
Bushehr which is across the Persian Gulf from Saudi Arabia.

According to the article you posted the Saudis aren't preparing for nuclear war, but for the radioactivity that might result from a strike on Iran's nuclear plants.

Regardless of the likelihood of there ever being such a strike, Saudi Arabia would be foolish not to take precautions.

This article is full of speculation and twists the truth to suit an agenda and comes from a source that has a history of being unreliable.

There would be no reason to use a nuclear weapon on a nuclear plant. Plain, old, everyday, TNT would do the job quite nicely.

A nuclear power plant is an A-Bomb-A-Nation = a sitting nuclear time bomb !

Russia built Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant and supplied
the nuclear material... and has recently agreed to do the same
for Egypt. Interesting considering the head of Russia's Nuclear
Agency is Jewish !

Since the 1986 meltdown of a reactor at Chernobyl in Ukraine, Russian engineers have adopted safety measures similar to those used in the US, including reactors that shut down automatically when there’s a fault. Rosatom Corp, the state-run nuclear holding company, expects to build as many as 42 plants in Russia and 60 abroad by 2030, according to chief executive officer Sergei Kiriyenko.

The US should expect even less friends if they attack Iran. Heck, Europe might side with Iran, as most Europeans are really, really upset with the US's foreign policy.

I hope Iran doesn't get attacked - it's the last thing they, or we, need. A prosperous Iran is what the world needs, not more killing.

I've said it many times before, and I will say it again, attacking Iran might be the biggest mistake in history, FOR US ALL! No more hey it's only on tv, I'm OK over here in my comfortable home, why should I care if Iran gets attacked.

Well the Iranian civillians will care, and if this war comes to YOUR home, then you will surely care haha.

NO WAR. Now is the last chance to change and stop all the mistakes that was done in Iraq, if Iran gets attacked there will be no way out.

Saying this, the only way I can see people accepting the attack on Iran is if "somehow" the usa comes up with the "ultimate" excuse.

I'm sure there is a bigger hidden story behind all this, Afghanistan, Iraq, military bases set up, if Iran is next, then there may be a bigger hidden agenda here.
