I would ask that you go to another thread that was created called: "Meet the Dead Hijackers". This thread offers the background information in regards to the terrorists and how they started out.

For this thread's sake, I will post my own information that was easily gathered on the internet.

First of all...lets read this fron the 19 Martyrs Video:

The city scientist who led the effort to identify 9/11 victims said officials made sure to keep the remains of the three terrorists identified away from those of the innocents killed.
The remains of the killers were removed from the medical examiner's makeshift memorial park on the East Side and "put in another place," Robert Shaler, former head of the medical examiner's forensic unit, told the Daily News.

In "Who They Were," his new inside account of the identification effort, Shaler writes that he believes the terrorists identified were in the back of the planes - and not the monsters who plowed the jets into the towers.

"I still doubt the pilots have anything remaining to collect or analyze," he writes. "Likely, they were vaporized along with many of the innocent victims."

Shaler recounts with fresh detail the scientific challenge and personal anguish that marked the more than three years it took to process the bodies and 20,000 body parts recovered from Ground Zero.

Though the remains of 1,594 of the 2,749 WTC victims have so far been identified by name, Shaler makes clear the terrorists were a case apart.

To begin with, Shaler's office could not identify the three by name. That's because the 10 DNA profiles used to make the first matches were supplied by the FBI without names attached.

"No names, just a K code, which is how the FBI designates 'knowns,' or specimens it knows the origins of," Shaler wrote. "Of course, we had no direct knowledge of how the FBI obtained the terrorists' DNA."

DNA Contiuned

Forensic experts in New York say they have identified body parts of two of the 10 hijackers who flew planes into the World Trade Center on 11 September 2001.
Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the New York Medical Examiner's Office, said the identifications had been made using DNA samples provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The FBI had collected the DNA from tiny traces of skin on the steering wheels of vehicles hired by the hijackers and from hair samples recovered from their hotel rooms.

Earlier this month, the FBI provided profiles of all 10 hijackers, including alleged ringleader Mohammad Atta, so their remains could be separated from those of victims.

"No names were attached to those profiles. We matched them, and we have matched two of those profiles to remains that we have," Ms Borakove said.

"We haven't finished our work, so it may be more," she added

Nuclear DNA testing (along with dental records and fingerprints) of the remains from the victims aboard American Airline (AA) Flight 77 and within the Pentagon was useful for identifying 178 of the 183 victims. Five missing individuals (four within the Pentagon and one aboard the airplane) could not be identified due to lack of biological material from the crash. Five remaining nuclear STR profiles were obtained from the crash site that did not match any references for the victims. These profiles were thought to represent the terrorists aboard the flight. The 40 victims aboard the United Airline (UA) Flight 93 that crashed near Shanksville, PA, were also identified by nuclear DNA testing, dental records, and fingerprinting. Four nonmatching nuclear DNA profiles were also obtained from the crash site and again tentatively ascribed to the terrorists.
The DNA results strengthened the hypothesis that two of the terrorists were brothers, as indicated by other

evidence. Two of the terrorist STR profiles aboard the AA Flight 77 gave a sibling index greater than 500. To further test the hypothesis of maternal relatedness, AFDIL sequenced the HVI and HVII regions of mtDNA for these individuals. The sequences generated did match in HVI and HVII, which is consistent with a maternal relationship between the two men.

As we all know, brothers Nawaf and Salem al-Hazmi were on board Flight 77. Testing reveals two of the DNA profiles appear to be taken from brothers.
They didn't stop there as further tests were carried out to attempt to reveal the population the profile came from, and these conclusions were reached:

Overall, our results were consistent with a Near Eastern origin of the mtDNA sequences from the putative terrorists. In this case, though, several large caveats must be applied. Firstly, only HVI sequences were used, so the resulting phylogenetic trees must be interpreted with caution as to reliability. Secondly, the relative frequencies of the ascribed haplogroups in the European versus Near Eastern databases, while suggestive, were far from conclusive. Lastly, this type of analysis can only provide information regarding the biogeographic ancestry of the mtDNA molecule itself. Because of the possibility of admixture, both recent and historical, the ancestral origin of the mtDNA that an individual inherited from his maternal ancestor may or may not relate to his actual population affiliation.

I don't know about the "ding dong" part now...

Just because something gets "officially" reported doesn't mean we need to believe it.

This classic, often asked question comes to mind, how come the DNA of hijackers -- soft organic biological tissue -- survived the 'plane crashes' but all the (metal) aircraft hardware was 'vaporized' upon impact? It doesn't matter which PhD's did the testing -- it's nonsense nonetheless.

Video Evidence

Ever since the September 11th attacks, al-Qaeda have released footage of a few of the hijackers. These include a number of video wills, where they talk about jihad and attacking America. Reportedly all but one of the hijackers made a will, so it would be safe to assume that more wills will be released during 911 anniversaries?

Austrian officials said most of the 66 bodies so far recovered were so badly burned, the remains would require DNA testing and that it would take at least three days to get the results of each test.
The intensity of the fire left the bodies badly charred and even tattoos and scars could no longer be seen, chief forensic pathologist Edith Tutsch-Bauer said...
Bodies and remains were stuck among parts of the melted train, ski clothes, boots and other equipment. The floor of the train melted, in temperatures estimated at over 1,000 degrees centigrade.

Looks like the fires were hot enough to melt the floor of the train and they still recovered DNA. Aluminum (like the airplanes were made of) melts at 600 degrees centigrade, lower than the temp in the tunnel/train above.

Space Beams? What gives you the idea that I believe in such nonsense! I think you may be confusing me with Dr Judy Woods.

The space beam -- laser -- is fundamentally wrong because it does not and cannot explain where the energy would have come from to power such a device. Just to pulverize the concrete and create the heated expanding dust clouds at the WTC's required 14 million kWH. To create a laser of such magnitude would require a charge at least three times greater than that.

Dr. Judy Woods is way on the wrong path with her space beam idea. It's a mystery why she is so obsessed with it. Maybe she's a little on the 'nerdy side' and can't see the forest for the trees. Who knows...

Holograms are a possibility but not a necessity.
And yes, the 9-11 flight passengers which weren't fictional or already deceased nursing home patients are most likely 'dancing the limbo' somewhere, living new lives in anonymity whilst laughing all the way to the bank.

ThroatYogurt, why are you throwing in the towel so soon? Don't rest your case just yet! There's plenty of time to cry in one's chocolate later on.

You haven't been active on ATS too long, so I'll help you out, nice guy that I am. There is a "thing" called the Social Security Death Index in which dead peoples' names are listed. It's an important register, since SS numbers need to be de-activated once a person passes away. Otherwise people could be creating all kinds of mischief -- more than is already happening (e. g. Mexican immigrants often use other persons SS numbers on their W-4 forms).

For some mysterious reason, hardly any of the 9-11 (phony) flight passengers show up in this index. The index seems pretty accurate to me. ALL MY relatives show up! So, it's kind of suspicious that the SSDI list doesn't apply to certain 9-11 victims. ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com...

Although it may appear from my "points" that I havent been around here. I am well read. Even involving your posts. You are a supporter of John Lear...that it self ...well.. I'll leave it at that.

As far as the SSDI. You are only on that site if you have claimed SS benefits or your next of kin sends a C.O.D. to them. Certificate of Death.

If you noticed, there are many families that have not sent their certificates to the SS offices. Why? Well if you see, most tragic events that have happened throughout the most recent history will show that there are many names "missing."

Pick an event, any event. I am more than certain that there will be names missing.

So yes... i rest my case.

Okay, had some time to kill, so I thought I would do some reseach on the site in Wizard's post. Here is what I found...

John F. Kennedy---must still be alive
John F. Kennedy Jr.--must still be alive
Salvatore P (Sonny) Bono--must still be alive
Terri (Schindler) Schiavo--must still be alive
Michael Kennedy---must still be alive

NONE of the above appear in the "death" index, and yet pretty sure all of them have died.

Also checked some of my friends/relatives, several of them did not show up either.

March 2006: Apparently Dead 9/11 Hijackers Still on No-Fly List


When journalists obtained a copy of the US international no-fly list, which the Transportation Security Administration uses to prevent known terrorists from flying to the US and other countries, they find that 14 of the alleged 9/11 hijackers are still on it. They are: Satam Al Suqami, Waleed Alshehri, Wail Alshehri, Abdulaziz Alomari, Hamza Alghamdi, Fayez Ahmed Banihammad, Ahmed Alghamdi, Mohand Alshehri, Majed Moqed, Hani Hanjour, Salem Alhazmi, Saeed Alghamdi, Ahmed Alnami, and Ahmed Alhaznawi.
