The structure will be made with 2,500 tonnes of granite quarried from Esperance, on Western Australia's south coast.

The £700,000 project, to be called The Henge, will include 101 granite stones arranged in an inner and outer circle and a central altar.

I hope they make sure to leave room for the Great Pyramids!

Pretty cool idea I think. I wonder if it is on a lay line? I am a bit confused by your "spew" of this idea there MrsEsterhouse, is there something that you don't like about it?

I have been to Stonehenge twice now. I think it's mysterious and pretty cool. I still wonder how they brought those stones from the quarry to the site.

Least in this day and age we get to know who built this and why.

Just seems kinda pointless to me. If you want to see stonehenge go to the real one. It would however be cool IMO if they added other "wonders" such as the Great Pyramids to the same spot. Make a Wonders of the world park in Austrailia. I thought the article could of had more info as well. They don't really expain if it will be built to line up with stars. my 2 cents.
