I emailed Astaneh-Asl personally maybe a couple of years ago, about WTC collapse features that NIST or FEMA did not address. At that point in time, he apparently didn't even think there was that much of a cover-up. He just told me he wasn't able to answer my questions.

He'd been trying to simulate/model the collapses for a couple of years, at least. I don't mean to sound like an ass but if you ask me it took him long enough just to figure out that his collapse simulations weren't going to work.

Well, really that isn't a good response or argument because it wouldn't be hard to imagine if one covers up one thing with human lives in the balance, to do the same with something else. It wouldn't have to be the same exact thing.

The point is something is being covered and it can take different forms.

OK. This engineer recieved money from the NSF. Not that he is a part of or director of the NSF.

NIST and ASCE directors are appointed directly from the president.

I believe there is a big difference.

And I believe that is what this man is pointing out.

Gene Corley, Charles Thornton, Paul Mlaker and Mete Sozen were authors of the Oklahoma City bombing report. This group also lead the ASCE team who volunteered to explain the WTC collapses.

Therese McAllister, John Gross, Ronald Hamburger, Harold Nelson and Ramon Gilsanz were contributors to the FEMA report which subsumed the ASCE investigation. This group also contributed to the NIST reports.

To this day, the only official report on the collapse of WTC7 is that provided by ASCE/FEMA ("best hypothesis has only a low probability of occurrence. Further research, investigation, and analyses are needed to resolve this issue"). NIST continues to choke on it.

FEMA demonstrated their lack of integrity and utter contempt for the public when they were caught staging a fake press conference last October (which MSNBC, FOX and other channels dutifully transmitted).

This little conspiracy involved a considerable number of FEMA staff and journalists apparently untroubled with the public deception they were part of. FEMA's external affairs director took the fall and it cost him the post he was about to take as director of public affairs for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. I imagine he'd proved himself too incompetent in the art of deception for that job.

A few points to be made:

This sentence is damning IMO. If the society wrongly concluded that skyscrapers cannot withstand getting hit by airplanes, they are saying there had to be something else to help. Meaning a controlled demolition of some sort.

Just as a comparison. One of our current projects in DC tallies close to $200,000. And that is for a facade investigation, which is hardly on the same calliber as investigating the WTC.

So, in essence, they are not just saying that there is a cover up for design flaws. Either directly or indirectly.

Kevin Ryan, the UL whistleblower who brought to light the NIST fiasco re: the certification and testing of the steel used in the WTC, has a presentation about the NIST report that in part discusses the ASCE team led by Gene Corley and how it was folded into NIST's report.

He lays out very clearly how the same forensic engineering "team" brought us the reports of OKC, ASCE and NIST.

These people are plain scum.

Why didn't they present it as such, then? Why fake a conference?

He said they were actually expecting reporters to show up. Right. To their SW DC offices, on 15 minutes notice? Can you imagine you're a reporter, you get 15 minutes notice and you have to stop whatever you're doing, hit the road, and be there in less than 15 minutes through all the DC traffic from wherever you happened to be?

Smells just like your typical FEMA corruption to me. A day early on 9/11, late for Katrina, and don't forget all their REX-84 detainment centers. This must just be their bread and butter, staging fake media conferences.

If this investigation doesn't get derailed--big if--it will eventually lead directly to the NIST report.

Corley and his merry band of forensic engineers got their start in whitewashing the OKC plot, then went on to 9/11 with the initial ASCE reports. These were the basis of the NIST report and Corley and his team became a part of the NIST project.

So, recap: the methodology of the ASCE reports have been challenged and are now being officially investigated for gov'tal influence and general hack-for-payism. The same people who directed these reports also were the core team for the NIST report, which was based on the ASCE reports.

That's one flimsy firewall. This is big.

Edit to add: that's why you see Corley quoted at the end of the original article, smearing the motives of the people who raised the accusations in the first place: time-honored debunker tactics that anyone who reads this board should be inured to from endless over-exposure.

Well the situation is not good... I'm repeating a post I just made..
I'll make this statement:

How does one break free of slavery?

We are not slaves?

We do not know anything else other than what the government tells us.
The rest is called secrets or conspiracy.
There are many firm believers in copy from sources that cloud real issues.

We do not work for them unless we do what we are told.
There is no recourse to UFOs or 911 or other lies or conspiracies on their
