I'm awaiting a letter from Ms. Dorothy at current time, however most of our correspondence is of a personal nature regarding the experience and her
years of interaction with it. I believe she has a lot of wisdom through years of experience, that can help me in my own experiences. If she allows me
to share that letter(s) with you all here I will, if she'd rather I not, I won't.
There is very clearly something going on with her, and her films are very, very astonishing. (This coming from me? Yeah, I'll say that.) Those
who've seen the film, have seen some of what I mean, with regard to the "Dorothy Dorothy Dorothy" frame?
It should be noted that those who've taken the time to visit her, have also seen the anomalies. It should also be noted that while others in her
presence did see the lights and craft...others did not from the same vantage point.
This, is a very little known nor talked about aspect of UFO sightings. Perception plays a huge role, and obviously plays a big one in this case. I'm
very interested in that angle, and many of her experiences seem to reflect my own. Thats why I made the hardcore effort to contact her, and luckily
got introduced. She does not particularly want a lot of correspondence from the mass public, at 80+ years old and is more concerned with getting her
reams of film transferred to digital, more permanent media. That seems to be her driving desire at this point...so that all this is not lost to time
by rotting, degrading film.
To those arbitrarily dismissing the case, I'd only advise you to see the film and then make your call. I think most who down the case and the lady
herself, really haven't done any looking in any serious way, nor are they familiar with the longevity of the case and the behavior of the prime
witness/experiencer. Could it all be faked? Anything can be. But motive and drive in this case lead me to surmise this is no fake, but a genuine
engima.
This is a woman who's never sought to profit from this, and has stayed away from the UFO community by in large, quietly collecting data for years.
This is not a Greer, or a Dean, who've made a living out of lectures and books. She's very open and forthright about her experiences and is sharing
her data outright.
She's now an elderly lady, who's decided she wants this to be "out there", and shown to everyone. Most of the profits of the film are going to
transfer her film to digital media. This needs to happen now, because the footage is great to have, but we also need her perspective on what she
experienced when shooting it. Those claiming the "money" angle...hey the director of the film is a *film maker*...thats their job to sell their
film. He nor any investigator involved with the case...is the case. Dorothy Izatt is.
You guys oughtta know me by now. I go to the bitter end to expose fakes and charlatans in the UFO study-hence why I'm so despised by them, and some
of the die hard believers of any footage to come down the pike.
But, all that said, I'm not so blinded by my critical mind to dismiss possibly legitimate evidence when I see it.
You guys know the old saying "Keep and open mind...just not so open your brains fall out."?
That works both ways.
Don't let the critical thinking part get so domineering that you relinquish a case to the hoax pile, without truly looking at the subtle aspects.
There's a lot of that in this case.
Dorothy's films are subtly astounding, when you know "how" they get on film, not just what they represent and the "oooh" factor.
If you get the film, I very much doubt you'll be sorry if you're willing to put away your desire for "ooh" factors and an easy answer. You'll
come away from the film looking at the enigma in a completely different way, a way I've been trying to get people to look more closely at for years.
Maybe if I cant getcha to, this film can.
