I'm not sure what is more worthy of comment, the fact that despite the backlash this guy converted, or the fact that the media seized upon it which
is like automatically inflating the irritation it would bring to some Muslims, (and even non-Muslims for that matter).
Do you suppose that the marketing people with the Catholic Organization's PR office really felt the need to elevate the visibility of this
conversion? I can't imagine them leaning one way or the other.
