He makes a lot of valid points in this message, however you must consider the motives behind his statements. His agenda is to turn the U.S. public against it's leadership in an effort to create uncertainty amongst the people by opening their eyes to the truths of the war in Iraq.

He brings many factual things to the table in his message, most of which are relative to the specific war crimes committed by our troops overseas. These statements make the American public think more about how our actions are affecting the native people over there and in turn leads to more emphasis on accountability of executive level leadership personnel.

I think this is a tactic specifically designed to increase the negative view of the war on behalf of the public in an attempt to affect the elections. This tactic is very well thought out, focusing primarily on the retreat of U.S. Forces from the region via public uprising within America with regards to the war. I don't think it is necessarily geared towards the current administration as it is more for the public view of how the next administration will handle the situation.

What are your opinions on my theory?

I think you are right as can be. It is a scare tactic. These messages just seem to pop up at just the right time dont they? Just a little to convienient I think. I hope the rest of the country catches on to this before November gets here.

I have seen videos and photos that Clearly show some kind of double that really looks nothing like Osama. I agree with you with out even seeing your video. Osama Bin laden is dead.

The "new" audio of him is fake.
There is no convincing me otherwise.

I should have been more specific.This thread has a report from reuters that the administrator on a web site called "Al-Ekhlaas" posted the announcement of this new Osama Bin Laden message.

However, with a who is search of the web site's domain, it says Peterson Hoffman of Amman, Jordan, is the owner of the domain. This does not sound like a name that would come out of Jordan (correct me if I'm wrong), so I am a bit suspicious as to who is running this "al Qaeda-affiliated" forum.

Funny this was released on the 5th anniversary of the war in Iraq. Something will happen just to justify the war... To make us all "remember why were fighting." What a crock.

Seriously, Bin Laden is dead and kept alive by the CIA and Al Qaeda. The CIA needs him as a fearmongering tool and keep support for the war on terror, whereas Al Qaeda needs him to keep the Jihad alive.

I think its just spectacular that on a website where (presumably) grown up adults debate the possibility of intelligent life on Mars, Humanoid-Reptiles, "Nibiru", and an entire cacophonous din of transcendental nonsense, the majority of the posters here believe that OBL tapes are generated by the US govt. Good for you, wouldn't want to let logic or reason get in the way of a good conspiracy theory!

As for the tape Bin Laden does threaten The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI. I think his Holiness has been a target of Islamists since the speech he gave in Germany in 2006. Thank God, the Pope is very well protected and shouldn't have to worry about these mongrels too much.

If anything ever happened to the Holy Father, I sincerely do believe the current state of affairs would become white-hot. I, for one, cannot imagine how I would react.

You would probably react with hate and anger and support whatever war the killers want you to support. You think things happen by coincidence in the world?
