A UFO cold case

www.latimes.com

Where's that power pole? And the guy who said he photographed a flying saucer above it? Two down-to-earth private eyes want to know.

The pole might be as fake as the CGI drone itself.

I wonder if they went to any photo analysis people...im sure they would be able to figure out whether or not its real

It looks exactly like the drone.

I wonder...I haven't searched/been here long enough to know, but was the Drone considered a hoax or is it still on the line? If so this just shows another two people who have witnessed the craft. Also brings to mind that it's in the LA times as well, wonder how many people read it.

Never mind just saw that it would have been printed today and not earlier.

Yeah, this is all part of the CARET hoax. The sad thing is, its a hoax that has made the mainstream media whilst the real stories are laughed at and buried.

LA Times is the largest paper in the los angeles area so I'm sure thousands of people are going to see it. It was printed on the front page btw:

So where's the proof it's a main stream media hoax?

Thought it might be a hoax.
Thing is...how can people still think its real if something that "Huge" is moving about and everyone has cameras whether on the cell phone or not. As well as Video cameras and what not, shouldn't there be more than just a few people coming every now and then to report this?

Many believe its a hoax. I prefer to keep an open mind. Why detail a power pole that would not be necessary for the photograph. IMHO the power pole is 100% real. The Drone is highly detailed when the picture is blown up. Why the unusual lettering on the bottom that is not visible unless enlarged. This would be very difficult unless you were in the CGI business with expensive programs. Its not a hoax until someone has absolute proof. Everyone has the right to their opinion. Just stating its a hoax without proof makes one look foolish.

Has something to do with cloaking that seems to be related to anti-gravitational technology...if it's real. Which theoretically makes sense, but unfortunately there really isn't much info openly available to the public on the subject. Atleast information that goes into heavy demonstration and beyond conjecture & theory.

This was just mentioned on Fox News at just a few mins before 11AM...by Bill Hemmer again! Bill Hemmer is a believer, look at the things he has said on YouTube clips.

video.google.com...

They said they did not have time to get to the story today, so tune in to Fox News tomorrow at about 10:50ish AM to see the full story!

Thanks Grey Basket for letting me know about this thread. As usual I am a day late and a buck short.

Gandma needs a new pair of glasses.

I think this is quite interesting. If this is shown to have some stock to it and not fake I believe we will need to come down a little on the ones here that jump to quick to debunk and scream hoax.

As with everything time will tell hopefully. Bill Hemmer did say the person was missing and this makes it even more interesting.

One thing that bugs me is why couldn't they put this on the 11:00 news why do we have to wait until tomorrow. He did say he was getting a lot of e-mails so I say we should all write a e-mail to him.

the guy only disappeared because he is a fraud. end of story no conspiracy case closed.

As you can see from the 2nd post in this thread, I agree it is a CGI hoax.

The real story here is the fact that a UFO story is once again getting MSM attention. The LA Times and Fox News, doesn't get more mass than that.

I think it should be said that there are the disinformation specialists out there capable of recreating and even swapping out these internet photos and videos for the orignals. The lighting on the two objects seems to be correct.

I had asked about these California Drones in a remote viewing forum where remote viewer Paul Smith was an active member who replied he didn't know or hadn't tasked this.
He has been in and written articles for UFO magazine. I wonder if and when the UFO hunters will be including some of these well known remote viewers in their show. Apparently they aren't very popular here on ATS?

We can only speculate if these drones were real as to what they would be specifically looking for in California. Many apparent CGI creations, especially the videos, do look more fake than real. I wonder how many idiots will still think all drones are fake when they finally see one. OMG! a drone! .......eh, it must be CGI.

OK gonna be ultraparanoid for a moment...

This "case" is a big stinking pile of you know what. Completely unnewsworthy, so why does the LAT run it on page one? Could it be that they are trying to discredit the UFO movement?

that drone has just shown up on some of the best videos and pics to date. Usually they are the "best" for a reason..... CGI. I am sure that there are pic and vid analysts on here that can show us why it is CGI.

I can't believe people are still talking about the DRONE.

It's CGI . I knew it from start and it stays that way. Stop making Ufology look bad.

Boycot the drone please. It's CGI.

Drone videoclip. Probably the drone was AND a Hoax AND a marketing tool.
That's how marketing works. Use topics that are getting lots of attention.

But what is or was it marketing? Without solid evidence of that we should not immediately rule it as CGI. I mean, aren't we always wanting a clear shot of a UFO and then when it is there it is tossed aside as CGI.

That's the problem, any good artist/analyst will tell you that at one point if it's a high end 3D animation there pretty much isn't any way to tell other then if the location just doesn't exist.

I can tell you personally that with enough time and motivation I'm sure I could make a damn detailed model out of the Isaac files and other stills to replicate that thing buzzing Krispy Kreme donuts handing out coffee, but until some one can prove it actually came from a hoaxer, everyone is just stating opinion to that, not evidence.

Don't give me the technical drawings of a fishing reel or borrowed sacred geometry as proof either. I'm sure I can find other circular objects that look the same technically drawn out too. As far as the esoteric writing and patterns, that is afterall the diretion science/physics is going, so why wouldn't it be there, fake or not?
