I think it is my favorite Dylan tune. I tend to flip flop a lot when it comes to deciding on my favorite Dylan and Leonard Cohen songs.

It's certainly my favorite Dylan video, if nothing else
.

Leonard Cohen...Good stuff. He is a really great song writer... Theres something about his voice too...maybe because its soo deep..

"Everybody Knows" is a great song...

I wonder...what the Video is from?

I think I'd have these songs in no particular order;

Judas Priest: "Beyond the Realms of Death"

Pink Floyd: "Shine on You Crazy Diamond

Wolves In The Throne Room: "I Will Lay Down My Bones With the Rocks and With the Roots"

Forest of Shadows: Eternal Autumn

And maybe throw in a few other songs, and some Funeral Doom, just cause I doubt funeral doom has been played at a funeral.

Not really sure why, but I think those songs would fit in well at my funeral, and I haven't really gave this much thought.

The only time I've ever heard Leonard Cohen's material before was on the Natural Born Killers soundtrack. I like his style.

For my funeral... I am not really sure. Today, I would probably have to go with Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

I hope these guys play at my funeral. www.soundclick.com...

I have been playing with them for over a year now. I'll let them decide what is appropiate for my funeral. They know me better than I know myself..... My brothers of wire and wood.

OHH! Very nice question.

I would have to say The Spill Canvas "Appreciation and The Bomb."

I also like Ivoryline "Hearts and Minds."

tut tut my friend, lol

Lost far too many friends for me not to be aware of my own mortality so I have my funeral all planned.

Music at the service will include:

One Way - The Levellers

One Tree Hill - U2

Breakout - Stiff Little Fingers

And when they are drawing them curtains closed....
Light My Fire - The Doors

I want this video showing on a very big screen!

Followed by the party of all parties...anyone who knows me knows that all the songs are quite apt and i'll be the last one to leave the party no matter how long it lasts.

Hope it's not for a while yet though, plenty left to do and see and parties to be had!

I have already bought my plot and headstone, so planning a funeral is not a big deal. I want:
Moby One of These Mornings
Cat Stevens Oh Very Young and another favorite
Don McLean Starry Starry Night

or Steppenwolf The Pusher

"Release" by Pearl Jam.

Without a doubt. Love this song.

I think I'd go with something dancey, with a message. So, Soul Mantra br Chris Liberator is a good contender. "If you clense your soul, it will live and grow. And in time you will achieve happyness and well being" and repeat.

The after party will crack on for 24 hours.

Hmmm, never thought about it, but three songs come to mind.

Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. When it was played at Spocks funeral in "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan" it really choked me up!

Martika- Toy Soldiers
Always seemed like a 'funeral like' song.

Hurt- Johnny Cash
Same reason as above.

I wouldn't play it at my funeral, but this one was sung by a close friend of my Mom's at her funeral. Still chokes me up to this day! Today marks the 33rd anniversary of her passing.

I would love to have Don't Cry by Guns N' Roses played at my funeral, because it's one of my all time favourite songs from my favourite band, and I wouldn't want anyone to cry, even though this song might make you shed a tear or two

Hopefully there's time for more than one! Go Rest High On That Mountain by Vince Gill is another favourite of mine, even though it is used in so many funerals.

I'm not a big fan of Snow Patrol, but I absolutely love this song. This would be another that I'd really like to be played.

And last but not least, Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis. Again because I love the song, but I don't want everyone to cry because of my passing, think of the good times...

I think the lyrics in these songs really reflect what my life has been like in my short 21 years... these songs are very personal to me in a way.

If I could get a private service for just my extremely religious relatives, I'd like this one played:

JUST TO MAKE THEM SQUIRM!!!

*Evil Laughter Ensues!*
