Okay, so I was leaving Dunkin Donuts with my husband around 1:10 am ti morning, about an hour ago. We were trying to stay up to do some housework and needed a coffee. So we were leaving, when I noticed how cloudy it was. Then I saw what I thought was the moon... Until the moon actually revealed itself from behind a cloud nearby. I freaked out. My poor husband driving was yelling at me trying to find out why I looked so scared.

It was pewter in color, almost ike it was trying to blend in with the overcast clouds. It was shaped (I hate to say it) like a disc, and looked kind of big. It actually looked very low, was hovering right over the town skyline. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen, kind of just sitting there, not moving, no noise at all. That was the scariest part. And when it moved, it moved LIGHTNING FAST. We tried to drive faster, because I know from hearing of UFO sightings befre that if they are near you your car battery could give out. We could not outrun this thing. It was way too fast. Then, I turned my head toward my husband for a second, but when I looked back, it was gone.

I called the Bristol PD to report a strange object in the sky. The officer was very strange, and told me no one else had reported anything. However, he knew exatly where I had seen it without my telling him.

This whole thing has wierded us out. Just had to post this somewhere, in case anyone else saw it.

By the way, I have never posted, this is my first time. I joined this site not too long ago and just never got a chance to post. I guess I am now. So, hi all.
Wish we had video or something of this event, but we don't, so I apologize for the lack of proof.

You might consider making a report to MUFON or whatever the other reporting places are. Maybe its part of a larger pattern?

No worries, If we knew exactly when we were going to see somehing like that we would probably have a video camera at the ready....a really good one (HD) mounted on a tripod. I have seen a few strange things in the sky myself but never had a camera on me at the time. It is weird how the police new where you were talking about without you telling him, unless he traced the call back to your home or cell phone.

I guess from now on you'll be carrying a camera in the glove box

It would be more reassuring if he had traced me from my cell phone, but when I called we were already back home. I didn't call immediately after I saw it because the police in our town are kind of rude and lazy, nothing happens here, so I figured he'd laugh at me and put it in the local newspaper as some nutjob calling in to report 'the sky is falling' . lol. So he had no way of knowing where I could have seen the UFO.... unless someone else had already called it in.
