While I don't necessarily believe that Obama believes in everything the good Reverend Wright preaches, his professed ignorance of the man's views is hard to believe.

Jeremiah Wright "sermoned" along these similar lines for many, many years and did not hide his beliefs..........tapes and videos of him are available for sale and have been for many years to today. No way Obama didn't have a notion of this guy's beliefs. I do think that Barack did mingle with this church, as has been conjectured, to "get in good" in the Chicago scene with A-As. I don't think he ever expected, as a serious campaign issue, for this to come up on a national level and thus his scrambling.

The issue here is not Obama's faith or belief or intentions............but his judgement......and "judgement" has been a major part of his campaign to this point. To be a "uniter" who "transcends" race/religion/ethnicity/politics is a tough sell.

To be one who has actively associated with a congregation and pastor that routinely preaches hatred of the country.......racial hate......political conspiracy....makes it even harder.

No, the Media only creates the image in the mind of the viewer that the person involved was "in need of commemoration" and - with enough persons as..."influenced" as you - steps are taken to "commemorate" the person involved.

This preacher is a joke imo. It's plain to see he isn't 100% black, and is the product of a mixed marriage. He's almost whiter than me, I'm itialian.
