Apollo landing genuine audio

seems part of that conversation was broadcast or leaked (or hoaxed) if this snippet is anything to go by...

apollo recording. 'jezebel' is mentioned twice as nasa try and get the astronaut to change frequency after reporting seeing some sort of possible structure, a hole and a light (we'll cover it up don't worry is what seems to be inferred by nasa).

is this part of the same audio piece you have?

The code words were apparently used so that an astronaut would not say, hey there is a big door in that wall, or OMG there is a huge flying saucer, or whoops, I have just trodden on a moon man, or Mc Donnalds is open, or whatever they were reporting back on. I hate to say it but, I think some of them must have actually made it there. A few of the ones they used were Jezabell, Barbara, Annabell, Kilo Kilo, Omni. They often switched to a private channel soon after the codes were used, but sometimes not. They also talked about the bottom of a crater being wet and a Genesis rock, strange!

P.s. Yes that is the exact piece and the story of it being faked was never even mentioned untill not long ago. I could`nt get the sound to work on your link, but the written dialog is just about spot on, they were so excited by what they had found, and Capcom were so angry they were almost shouting at them. By thier own words in the transcript, Nasa knew it was there all along.

Fascinating topic and I can't wait to hear these recordings. Regarding some snippets mentioned above, where can I hear those recordings? The link above didn't load any .wav file for me. I did see some transcriptions listed in an internet forum thread but I'd like to hear the recordings.

You may not get the chance, the recordings were declared a hoax, the recordings taken down, transcripts can be altered, audio can be analysed and proved genuine or fake, thats why it was removed. The armstrong quote had to be quickly doctored, that is why there is such a clumsy dropout of sound for a brief moment, which has never been cleaned up since, it just needs someone with the right equipment to play it through and history will be proved to have lied to us all of these years, in one instant. A piece of recording that most people have access to easily!

i personally cannot wait to listen to the recording and finally hear what was really going on during that particular moment.

it may be nothing or it could shed some light and have us re-evaluate what we know.

Ok this is starting to get intresyting and this is whay it is taking a little longer than expected.

there is a second recording.... of another apollo mission on the same reel....

the recording is now digitised and like i have said earlier this is not a hoax however until i have in my hand the dvd i can't do anything....

I can't remember exactly what is said but something i distinctly remember is the haunting ping...You'll know what i mean soon... ( i only heard about 30 seconds...but inbetween mission control and the astronauts talking is like a ping sound and a delay of seconds...)

When i said genuine nasa recording this is from what i gather an intercepted recording from the uk as people have stated NASA say they have lost there recordings... I will try and take photographs of the reel as soon as i get chance.

This from what i have been told is totally unedited... however like i stated originally i'am also a skeptic and won't be misled...

I have checked my bookings for the next couple of months and it seems Peter the gentleman i have recieved this recording from is not staying here however I do have a phone number to let him know when i have the digitised media and the original recording back so he can have the original and a copy of the digitised recording...

why has it taken you so long to NOT even have a photo of the reel?

i am sure you have a camera on your mobile, and hopefully you have at least 1 friend or family member with a mobile phone (they all have cameras now) to use for 5 minutes

What I'm wondering about is why did this gentleman give you the recording to begin with without caring what happens to it (did he not know you would mail it elsewhere??).
Further more, why did you *ship* it to some remote place to get it converted, do you live in the boonies and there are no post-production facilities around to do the job?

If this was as important as some think it is, then why would the gentleman who owns it, or yourself, be so careless to leave it unattended. Either one of you should have accompanied the recording and never let it leave your sight, it's just common sense for an evidentiary piece of history, as this is portrayed to be.

something like this should be watched closely. i mean a briefcase with a chain and cuff would not seem ridiculous given the supposed nature of this recording.

until we hear this recording, all we have is just speculation and nothing more.

Well I have got to say I am not really up and running with this.

You say that the recordings are on some sort of reel and you have listened to about 30 secs of it which would indicate you had a reel to reel machine you could use to do so.

If this is the case then it would be an easy task to connect the reel to reel to any computer with at least a CD writer to transfer the audio to disk.

This being the case then why send what is potentially whistle blowing material to a commercial lab via post ?

So lets say the result of the processing is a recording of an Apollo mission, (any idea which one or ones ?), and it contains unheard data, how can we be sure of it's provenance ?

Right now the whole scenario hinges on the provenance of your contact Peter, if he wishes to remain incognito than we have just another story and that is the best case scenario until there is more evidence.

As intrigueing as this story appears I cannot get excited about it at the moment questions need to be answered imho.

I agree 100%. The OP has offered nothing more than an extraordinary claim. ian even claims to have the audio back now, yet he still hasnt put it up. Ive had my doubts from my very first post in this thread. I officially call bullsh*t on this one. When it is obvious to the rest that this is a hoax I hope ian gets banned. I hope this because having threads like this on ATS only make it harder for those of us who are seeking the truth to actually find it.

Im with gimme some truth on this now...Ive followed this thread hoping that it will lead somewhere but Ian has now had the recording back for an age and STILL nothing posted up.

oookaayyy... I did not say the recording was legit or otherwise.
It was a copy of what I believe was discussed earlier. I wanted to hear it, but the link was down. I found this from another site. I believe it was the same clip. For what it's worth, I have heard the official recordings umteen times already. I want to hear the new digital stuff soon.
