Religious Jews plan revenge attack for school killing

Ultra-nationalist religious Jews have planned a revenge attack after a Palestinian gunman killed eight students at their school in Jerusalem last week, Israeli public television reported Tuesday.

Two influential rabbis, including one from the targetted Merkaz Harav religious school, met with a group of former students who have combat experience from their military service, the TV station said. It claimed to have the names of the rabbis.

One of the envisaged revenge targets was allegedly an Arab figure linked to the Al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem's old city, known as Al-Haram Al-Sharif to Muslims and Islam's third holiest site after Mecca and Medina.

These crazy Rabbis are up to no good. It does not seem enough to them that the Israeli Army is shelling palestinian fugitives, they want the palestinian martyrdom to go even further.

There are allways fanatics and maniacs on both sides - and some are posting on this forum , safely away from all the bombs.

The question is , will there be a rise (again) in attacks by *splinter* (for want of a better word) groups attacking palestians in similar gun/bomb attacks - there has been gunmen and suicide bomber from israel in the past.

hmmm take this with a pinch...

While I put little past the settler movement, I do think this is whipped up media stuff personally...
