What do they mean by "building up in the atmosphere"? That is an unusual way of describing a meteorite.

...around a month ago my sister was driving on her way to work from Palestine Texas to Crockett Texas and saw a round green and white light in the sky, then it formed into two lights, one green, one white, and they both shot off in opposite directions and disappeared!

Believe me, she is not one to lie about something like that!

Is it a meteorite? Is it space junk? It could be either. The Perth Observatory may have solved the mystery of lights seen over WA skies early this morning. Perth Observatory astronomer Ralph Martin said that the lights appeared to have been a meteor or a piece of space junk.
