I like 'em both.

STAR WARS is good "turn your brain off and enjoy" stuff. STAR TREK often had some excellent and thoughtful pieces. I found the most recent series to be very unwatchable; the captain was just obnoxious and not charming and the language tech spent her time whining and whimpering. I wanted to send her out the airlocks.

But I do like the older stuff. Haven't seen the last two movies, however.
