The US Defence Department said today it is forbidding Google from filming and depicting in detail its military bases, after officials found precise imagery of a Texas base on the Google Maps website.

maybe thay are scared of what thay are doing inside the bases? that thay dont want us to see?

Yes of course, I'm quite sure intel watches sites such as these it provides valuable info as to how people are thinking and what they know. Thats why they want to control the net its a loose cannon and they dont like it.

Hmm.... why would the Pentagon forbid google for giving out detailed maps of our Military stations?

Maybe because these images would show access points that could be used by terrorists to infiltrate our secure Military bases? Why would you want the Pentagon to allow a detailed map of our military bases to be attainable ONLINE...where anyone with internet capabilities could get it. Do you really want terrorists, Russians, the Chinese, etc.. to basically see the blueprints (I know, they aren't blueprints, but the map would be just as helpful) of our Military bases?

Everything is a conspiracy to some of you people.
