If it came from the front end of the pictures it is the bow hunter that set the camera, backing up and checking the camera red light comes on and he walks away satisfied its set up right.

Now on the other hand if it was in the middle of a string of bear pitcures it could be legit.

Look way down at the bottom left of the frame.

It looks like there is a snap or button holding something that is hanging from the suit. If you look close, you can even see the metal piece that goes through the leather sleeve.

I'm going with hunter on this one.

Hunter in a Cammo Suit I think. Probably the person who placed the camera. I used Genuine Fractals (demo) to preserve detail and only used the red channel so I could see edges and folds.

The last image in the post above me seems to have a ghostly face of "alf" where a humans face would be. Look closely and youll see it.

My opinion of the probuble authinticity of this video is based more on the feeling of motivation of the presenters of the video, rather than the actual photographic evidence.
All I can tell from just looking at it is that it is not a bear.
If someone knows that the Hunt tv people are in the process of trying to get attention to their site, it puts the whole thing into question.
The posts on this thread make all good points.
For all I know, it could be a well camoed hunter who was actually trespassing and did not want anyone to know what he was up to.

Looked like a hunter in serious camouflage to me as well. Looks all wrong for a classic BF, round top of head, appears to have a smallish frame.

Could be that the guys at that site were setting the gamecam up and noticed that Jerry looked kinda like a BF in his camou. So, they figure they'll have a little fun and drive traffic to the site as well.

Who knows; I just don't see BF here.

It has some signs of being fake. Why didn't the camera catch the entire event. Why only 9 frames as the 'object' is moving out of frame? I work with these cameras when ghost hunting and I can tell you as soon as anything comes in front of the camera it begins to take photos or video. Typically, whenever someone is hoaxing a video (bigfoot, UFO, etc) we never see the whole video. It always cuts before or after some important part. I'm not saying it is absolutely a hoax but if it was a bigfoot or a hunter dressed in camos why doesn't the camera capture the entire event?

Oddly enough the second photo looks like a Tuscan Raider of Star Wars fame. Look at the face.... I see tuscan raider. Anyhow, since I have nothing else to contribute I leave you with a Mitch Hedberg quote on the subject:

"I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry, and that's extra scary to me. There's a large out of focus monster roaming the countryside. Look out, he's fuzzy, let's get out of here."

Is it me or does it first appear out of nowhere. It looks like it just blinked into the first frame. This one looks similar to all the other bigfoot sightings. It just blows my mind that modern technology cannot reveal it's existence. It must be alien. These damn things are aliens. If only I was there alone in the forest with a gun. It would be a lot more fun shooting. Hunting is very boring.

Can you tell the walking style of these things?

Everyone I seen has the same stride. Slow. Lame. Walking on by. Don't care.

Come on. All the military has to do is move in with an advance team. Infrared. Heat detection. Plus the even more high tech stuff no one knows about.

Jango Fett's tranquilzer dart can take one down from 600 feet away. No problem!

But I guess being an alien or having big feet has its advantages.

As a believer that bigfoot is out there it pains me to say that this looks fake, it might as well be a guy in a crappy bear suit... The guy sets it up like its some great footage and creates automatic 'honesty' by pulling the 'make your own interpretation card'... I've seen better hoaxes with my eyes closed...

I'm going with it being a possible hunter / poacher or maybe even a game warden in a ghillie suit too...

It looks like a grown-up Chaka.

Probably saying WTF happened to all the dinosaurs?

Peace

After having seen the images on the first page of this thread, I have more questions than answers. First off, why are the images only on the left side of the frames? It also seems to me that if it was walking from the right side to the left side, it would have been in a lot more frames. Right? It does look like one of those outfits that hunters get in sporting good stores. Spend maybe a couple of hundred bucks to possibly make several thousand or so on the Bigfoot circuit. Not that that is what happened in this case. It just seems a little strange to me. I do believe that Bigfoot lives, but we do ourselves a disservice by faking evidence like this. That is why science so readily ignores the real evidence of Bigfoots existance.

Interesting.

The questions and observations I have:

The "being" was walking towards the stealthcam with the first frame of it having the most enveloped view. Where were the proceeding frames that would have shown it coming into view in the first place.

If you are accomplished bow hunters, why do you need stealthcams?

The HuntTV site is focused on pushing it's sponsors etc. Could this be an advanced PR campaign?

I'm interested in seeing followups to this

My thoughts exactly, especially the first one. The creature was walking out of the frame as if it had traversed the entire scope of the camera, but oddly the video "starts" just as it's leaving the screen? I think youre right about PR.

Personally I like the footage. Sure, there isn't much to see, but if the Patterson film is a good measure to go by, this "Bigfoot" surely measures up to the suit. Pun intended.

Something I notice in some posts is that some people feel that this "Bigfoot" isn't big enough? Is that like "you have to be THIS big to be a Bigfoot"? Does that mean that when a Bigfoot is born it pops out as an adult, with no size change from baby to adult?

All that said, the video (or at least the "presenter") screams Viral. And then there's this little note written by the Producer of the show to Sqautchdetective.com:

I have to say that there have been a lot of ‘antics’ and practical joke(s) around hunting camps in the past. Before you get too excited let us check into it a little more and then we’ll get back to you.

Best regards,

The important issue here is trail cams. It's the way to go if you want to catch Bigfoot. We've seen many rare (and sometimes thought extinct) animals thanks to hidden trail cams - like the Borneo Rhino to name a random example.

(BTW Badge01 made a very good point as well! A lot to learn from his post!

Why is everyone so upset that it only shows on the left part of the screen? It is a laser triggered event... Meaning the camera still has to turn itself on once the laser is tripped and start recording. This thing could have side-stepped into view, the cam needed a half second to start recording, and it walked off. Simple explanation. Now.. is it a bigfoot or a person, that's the question.

Male Homo Sapien

Note the angle of the lower arm relative to the hip bone. Slightly rotated and abducted for manipulation and enhanced fine motor skills of the wrist and hand.
The pelvic tilt and angulation of the fore arm relative to the hip bone is different for females and primates .

Well you know Santa, if it is a hoax, it would be smart to cover all your bases. Im sure this little detail of camera would not have been overlooked.
