Iran caught red handed

www.newsmax.com

New documents shown at a dramatic closed-door briefing to diplomats in Vienna by the International Atomic Energy Agency’s chief nuclear inspector, Olli Heinonen, provided new evidence that Iran continues to work on developing a nuclear warhead for its long-range ballistic missiles, despite a recent report to the contrary from the U.S. intelligence community.

I knew it all along and so did some others here while tons of people here were crying and whining that Israel and the United States were making it all up to start another war. Well here you go. Read it and weep. We are all now in more danger than ever thanks to the whiny liberals who have made it just about impossible for our president to stop this threat now. One can only hope Bush has the guts to bomb Iran's nuclear sites of the map.

If this turns out to be the case the implications are astounding.
This very well could be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Here we go again!

If they are ( a big if) making a nuclear warhead, they'd be foolish to use it, and to be honest, when theres four or five huge nuclear powers looming over you, ready to suck the oil out of your carcass like a vulture over a dieing cow, well, I'd rather have a deterrent too.

Yes...the long awaited news-post-topic to balance out all the news items of iran-apologists here at ATS.

Sad thing is, many wont be interested in the truth and would prefer to go on hugging Iran.

We need to remember that this was the opposition to the Iranian Government, who presented these allegations....

There is definitely strong suggestions in the article, that the development of warheads is ongoing... but what makes this any different, from say the "50xOdd Thousand" Warheads the U.S. has in it's own possession?? (just a number, I don't know the actual total)... And if these allegations are true, are they not allowed to protect themselves from enemies?? Who are the enemies?? Who are the good guys?? Does it sound like I'm whining??? I think it is irrelevant, if Iran has warheads, consider it a bigger bridge for Bush's Regime to cross...

What if, this is the excuse that the Bush Regime needed to head into Iraq... I believe if this came from a more reliable source, and not Newsmax.com, then you could say "I knew it all along"...

And nothing is impossible for Super-Bush!!!!

Just sayin'...

I guess its something many of us had suspected but hoped wasnt true. The next question is what will the big boys do now? Slap on the wrist sanctions as had previously been suggested or all out attack? Is there any word on the Russian P.O.V.

Bush needs to get the U.N. general assembly together and show everyone the evidence on live TV and then tell them all after he is done making his speech that the threat is now being dealt with by the U.S. Air force.

Anyone can make an "Iranian" Power Point presentation to show that the Iranians are trying to make a nuclear weapon.
I mean, what version of Power Point do they use in Iran, anyway?

And lets make sure these are reliable sources.

I mean, the powers that be want to attack Iran, but lets make the "evidence" look at least convincing this time. Thanks

Iran cant be taken by land unless you want to call up the draft and send millions of troops their. The terrain makes it near impossible. That is something they have never even given a thought. It would be easier to invade Saudi Arabia.

I'm not talking about the U.S. invading Iran.

Your going to see some very desperate situations arising soon, looming ahead. The oil is running low, and three massive countries are demanding it more then ever. One of which never came into the foray before, and has about 2 billion people to "feed" the crude stuff with.

When the world realizes that many of the reserves have been tapped dry, well....it won't look pretty for the countries that have texas tea swirling underneath them.

Well it comes as no surprise, however if I had all of America and its partners, against me and my country, I would be making protection too. Think if we dismantled all of our weapons and then Russia decided to tell us we couldn't make any as they spent untold trillions to develop as many as they could and took over the planet basically, and made it abundantly clear that they wanted what we value, yes it makes sense that they are and have been doing this.

I guess McCain can start singing his song again and all those guys from Iran Contra on his side will be telling him who's a good guy whos a bad guy.

i think we need to focus on the solution to this not the problem

The problem is ppl making things with intent on hurting others...the solution is reeducate everyone into peaceful means to survive on this planet....if it is a war machine it should be distroyed and anyone who hurts another should be put in jail for life(exile them)
I for one command world peace, but i can see that will never happen with the governments around the world in charge

You can not fight war with war because noone wins

What do you mean you knew it all along Since when has Iran denied having nucleur plans doesnt mean anything. the president of Iran always said he is going to devolope nucleur tech and the us cant stop him.

This is not surprising.

The guy making the presentation was the head weapons inspector in Iran. So yes it is credible.

Until I see it coming from a news source more reliable than Newsmax, which is basically WND Lite, I'm pretty skeptical.

However frankly, even if Iran were proven to be developing nukes, I still wouldn't support a war against them.

It's not our right to unilaterally decide who can develop what technology.

If the Israelis don't like it, that's their problem, not ours.

It's said that it is a spherical warhead... in various places. It makes a difference and indicates a level of sophistication left behind by the US and Russia long ago - just as deadly. "If" it were used and "if" it worked... even if it didn't "work" work, Iran could grow some really big glow in the dark roses. PPT's are easy to generate for sure. For Iran NOT to have pursued nuclear weapons in light of the geopolitical situation? The evidence will be interesting.

They "kind of" claim full orbital capability but there is another test this spring(?) I think. The vids of the last test... if they were authentic were not orbital shots by what I saw in the trajectory of the contrails. That'd make it a sub-orbital "pop-up"... I can't think of where they might be pointing that thermo-nuclear weapon. Hmm, biff one with a Patriot? It's sub-orbital and local theater. Hmmm.

Once the shootin' starts... the "stans"... etc.

Maybe they did shutdown and this is all a "front". Exciting times - high stakes. Might be worth a stroll around some .ir's and the Pentagon...

Happy Thursday night,

Vic

The Russians will be more furious than any. They have been warning them ever since they started their bogus space program that is really intended at producing and ICBM. Iran's government is crazy enough to use one as a first strike weapon, Remember they think its their job to bring about their Mahdi and be his Army to march to Israel so no Iran does not need a bomb and know one is even thinking of Invading them so they have no just cause for a weapon like this.
Got to catch some rest so argue on peeps.
