i was refering to the evidence for extra terrestrial life,microbial or super intelligent,not the schinangans of our beloved nazi scientists and thier american cohorts!.

Kind of a crazy idea that poped into my head as I listened to the sounds. The rings around Saturn being a giant record (for those youngens out there they are like really big CD's) and a message imprinted on the rings and the satellite kind of like the needle for us to find. Like a clue when and if we grow up enough to 1 discover it and 2 translate it. Just a random thought...

Nope. I'm thinking that you're reading more into things than are actually there. The space exploration community has always understood that Mars has a bit of activity on it. Natural activity, not aliens. And certainly nothing as interesting as a rain storm on Earth. Aa photo like the recent "landslide" photo is just more indication of that. Something mildly interesting. I don't see anybody panicking.

See, in order to continue getting decent budget money, they just can't present Mars or the Moon or other planets as dry, dead things that are incredibly boring and where only a real nerd would find something interesting. They need to jazz things up a little with a bit of choice speculation and some "gee whiz" images.

The fact of the matter is, however, compared to Earth, there just ain't anything very interesting going on in the solar system. It's really cold or really hot. There's no life. Lots of dust and rocks. But that doesn't sell rockets.

A lot of beautifully varying opinions here. Mine could be utter turdage, but before I flushed it, I felt it worthy of being shared to hear some ATS feedback

They are an odd agency, nothing like what they seem on the surface. How many NASA employees go through decades of service without suspecting the secrets their superiors harbor? That could be said for any business, of course. Oh, there are lots of secrets at NAZA, and that is no exaggeration. Do thou homework and learn, my children.

My apologies to those forum members who read my starting post while on '___', panicked, bought 200 cans of spam and bottled water, buried the dog (while still alive), dug an underground bunker, and immediately married their cousin. I was posting a possibility, not a current event.

i believe the cover up is more centered around religion,that for some reason aspects of some faiths believe proof of ET life would somehow nullify thier beliefs.so powerful people close to these faiths and dependant on thier votes have perpitrated the coverup in order to not rock the boat and keep thier favour

Why bring religion up ata all in this thread? Keep your anti-religion agenda to yourself please. FYI I am a Christian and I am very open to the possibility of alien life. I am not so bold as to believe we are the only things God ever created. Fact is I just don't know. I firmly believe in God and that the Bible is his word. Fact is it never says we are alone here.
The problem I have is that there has never been anything substantial to prove anything about alien life. Every picture or video is so far off in the distance or out of focus that noone can tell. The sound bite, well I just don't hear anything but noise. It sounds like a soundbite from Star Wars. That doesn't prove jack to me. I am open and very curious, but need something more concrete before I believe.

No need to panic for NASA, they trust the closed-minded to ridicule believers enough to keep massive inquiry at bay... as long as conspiracy theorists or phenomenon believer claims are considered crazy by mainstream society NASA barely has to lift a finger... The best evidence I've seen of NASA knowing about UFOs was those recordings of astronauts talking about UFOs flying around, that was on the History Channel though, so not very secretive at all... Whatever UFOs are I'm sure NASA is far from capable of hiding any knowledge they might have effectively, and I'm sure no one on Earth has all the answers about this mysterious phenomenon (though some might claim otherwise)...

I haven't listened to the soundbite, is it like a radio frequency type of thing or actual sound coming form there?

If the latter... How was it recorded? A satellite passing by? or from earth's surface.

Which brings up a number of possibilities... if recorded from earth... then the noise is from earth (meaning fabricated, or the earths atmosphere... don't know, haven't listened to it), if recorded very close to Saturn... then it MIGHT be possible (maybe if the probe was in the clouds of the ring).

Has anybody heard the phrase "in space no-one can hear you scream" ?

Sound doesn't travel through space, because there is no medium for sound to travel through (High school Science). The denser the medium... the faster sound travels through it (common knowledge, if you had science in school though).

BUT if it is a radio waves... then... it is either BS or true (further evidence would be needed to prove it is authentic, though).

A true conspirator believes that NASA is a cover-up just for the public....Many believe that it's just a distraction from the governments black projects and such. NASA's been editing out those images for years...but my question is clearly they have some UNBELIEVABLE and literally out of this world footage/pictures...Will we ever see whats really going on in space??? If they are fabricating and cropping images left and right...Whose to say that space isn't FULL of space ships flying around like a high way..."Everything" about space that we know may be a lie. How do we know there aren't ships everywhere, planets full of people, and etc. Now going back to the topic...NASA is going to really be screwed when UFO's try to contact us like by floating above our cities in plain sight...Once this happens- people will surely realize that this has been going on for years and NASA has never spoke about it. I imagine the whole organization will be an enemy to the publics eyes for all the lies. The reason for no disclosure is claimed to be because of religion and fear/panic among the masses that may cause unrest...WITHOUT A DOUBT caused by that 1940's "War of the Worlds" broadcast...Humanity has clearly evolved since the 1940's...Do you people honestly feel like we as a whole species cannot accept the fact that aliens exist??? Maybe if they weren't being portrayed as monsters that blow everything up in the movies- we'd be able to get some disclosure.

If Aliens live near Saturn... they probably moved there to get away from stupid earth people. Seeing that earth was a waste of time, inferior people that do nothing but make war with each other and blame it on religion.

It's sad to see us spend so much trying trying to debunk photos taken from a cell phone, etc. rather than focusing on/analyzing video/pictures of anomalous object captured by the folks out there in space with the technical ability to do so:

Sexellent post (I made that word up... it's copyrighted, don't touch it )...just wanted to say first, the War of the Worlds broadcast, which was wise of you to bring up, was broadcast over airwaves in the late 1930s (1938 if I recall). Also, you mentioned alien craft hovering above cities... remember the incident in Chicago, late 2006? Or for some retro, Washington, 1952... that one scared people a lot, and rightfully so.

If you don't recall these incidents and would like a clip or two about them, let me know.

Look guy's NASA has to know more than they tell us.If all there is on mars and the moon were rocks,why waste the money to keep looking at them.The money would be better spent on lagrer and much faster ships to explore possibly habitable planets.
IMO when Von Braun was brought in with his Nazi brothers,he brought information obtained from the secret depository of the library of Alexanderia.The information told of former habitation on the moon and mars.They are looking for tech.Von Braun's former SS boss was a "Watcher" in egypt.So the dots connect nicely.Nasa is not panicing they are misdirecting

What hogwash. The sounds could be anything. You have some sci fi writers idea of "what an alien voice sounds like" And you make a leap of faith because YOU WANT IT TO BE TRUE!

No different then people who see miracles all the time to support their religious belief system.

When we have a binary transmission or some other base transmission that provides actual data, then you may be on to something. As far as a conspiracy, the government is terrible at doing anything well so don't give them any credit for hiding the aliens. If they come or communicate YOU WILL KNOW IT>>>>

Hmm... someone has a lot more work to do in their studies. We'll know it? A lot of people already know it, so let's give credit where credit is due... About seventy years of government sponsored denial and conditioning has continued to mislead the general public... but not many of the lovely folks here at ATS
