Interesting parallel with this thread....Uncle Beheads Toddler in Supermarket which involved another heinous crime to do with a child.

I wonder if we'll see the same "arguments" that were thrown about there being bought up here?

Because neither parent was deemed inferior, as women in Saudi Arabia are.
These Stupid and evil parents are just that!
No presumption of religion involved. But, maybe drugs.

Oh my god! What is wrong with people. Didn't they know they could drop off the infant at a fire station and not even face any charges whatsoever?

The infant didn't have to die! This made me physically ill especially the description of the infant tied to a car seat staring ahead fists clenched. Poor little one.

They are not on a homicidal rampage.
They abandoned their baby. Their problem.
They did nothing to you or to society.
They are sick. Being sick does not equate to being a criminal.
Getting yourself all upset about it and screaming for blood is not correcing the prevalent social situation.

Society is very sick. Many people seem to have reverted to primitive instincts. When life is too much for them to handle, or they become preoccupied, then baby is just unimportant. These human "shells" cannot think.

If ever our so-called leaders become interested in the wellfare of the people They will set up a system wherin everyone will be educated to live in the advanded culture which we are supposed to be.
In the meantime we will have these semi-savage, feral people.

They did nothing to us or society? Alright then, so neither did any other child killer out there...let 'em all go scot free and apologise, because by your standards it shouldn't be punishable.

Are you really serious with the 'inability to cope with life' crap? It's ok everybody, go out and commit whatever crime you want, just blame it on the stresses of the modern world? Man, I really hope you're never responsible for anyone elses welfare but your own.

It is an interesting parallel neformore. Quite simply, both crimes were commited by child killers. Religion had nothing to do with it. These parents chose to play games and willfully neglected and starved their baby. Neither parent wanted to accept the responsibility. The parents had to know the baby would die, without the proper care. Therefore, they are child killers and should be punished as such.

The Uncle who beheaded the toddler was in a rage. He was mad at his sister and brother-n-law and took his revenge out on their child. Heinous,
abhorrent and wicked? YES! But is Neglect and Starving a child to death any less deadly? The five month old baby suffered severe hunger pains and sat in his own waste, for Lord knows how long? While the parents ate and bathed. Are these parents any less wicked than the uncle who beheaded his own nephew? I don't believe so. Our culture considers beheadment as Shocking and Islamic. France has used the guillotine and Germany used an axe and a block on two individuals in 1938. Also other countries have used these methods.

Both the toddler and the baby died needlessly, before their time. Child killing is a Global problem. Murder is Murder no matter what way you look at it.

Due to overpopulation, child abuse and neglect, we should have something like a child-liscense. You must be able to pass a series of test or whatnot, then you get your pass or card, ect. If you have a child without, you run the risk of having your child taken away by the state. Not that that's good for children, but all of these parents go unchecked. Growing up my mom worked for child protective services, and I would babysit for the children of adults attending parenting classes. No one knows what happens behind closed doors, and as an abused child, there are many conflicting feelings towards the parents. Most won't report the abuse, because they still love their parents, in some way. They tell you driving a car and owning a dog is a responsiblity, but why not having a child?

Ohzone said that the loss of this child's life was no one's problem but the parents. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. This child's murder may not affect anyone reading this or society at large, but it did affect THAT CHILD, who the last time I checked, was still a HUMAN BEING. Even abortion advocates can't argue against that fact. This child was innocent in every sense, and its murderers need to be punished because they A) committed a crime, B) are psychopaths, and C) clearly aren't fit to be free in society. And who are we to do the punishing? Well, we certainly aren't child killers, and complete lunatics capable of such heinous behavior.

This brought tears to my eyes.

How can anyone do this to their own flesh and blood... This is absolutely horrifying.

I have a son, 13 months old now.. beautiful boy, And I dont know how I ever lived with out him, I cant imagine life with out him now.. The thought of someone doing this is an abomination, They shouldnt be sent to prison. Death is too good for them, They should be locked in a room with no windows and nothing on the walls but pictures of their son to haunt them for the rest of their pathetic lives.

This disgusts me..

"You need a license to drive a car and to own a gun but any a**hole can become a parent"

I wouldn't call these people parents... Parent's love you and care for you, wipe your nose when it runs and do anything they have to to make your life the best they can... These people are disgusting pieces of garbage.. I hope they dont live to see their jail sentences.
