This was my thought upon seeing the video. I would like to imagine this is some benevolent kind of otherwordly contact, but this does look like terrestrial technology to me. I don't know if I'm 100% sold on the staged alien invasion theory, but I don't doubt the possibility of a false flag and I wouldn't put it past 'them.' Someone else mentioned psyops, and I think someone else even joked about advertising - it may all very well be very closely related. We're being told and/or sold something by someone... the questions are what and by whom?

The magickal / psychological implications of this sort of symbolic, subliminal, etc. manipulation are frightening. I can easily see this as a government ploy. Pr maybe a very subtle sort of takeover by the alien overlords. Who knows?

take a look at the first picture posted above by annuki(sp?) dated feb9th, and look at the youtube video at 3:28....there are two images that appear at 3:28...look at the first one and see if you guys think they are the same image...

keep in mind they are at different angles, supposedly taken from 2 different people in locations about 5 miles apart , but on different days.

what's your opinions?

I find this the most intriguing yet.

interesting video...based on that, I think it is a reasonable assumption to say that someone could hoax the thread video by Caron.

Here's the one issue that seriously disrupts the notion that is was hoaxed, however.....multiple witness photos of the same objects/lights taken from different vantage points on different days. Well, possibly not the same, but extremely similiar.

which brings us back to the notion that if it is a hoax, it had to be done outside on a very large (in terms of area) scale....which is where this discussion origianlly started on pages 1 and 2.

Filming it by an open window on a computer screen in the dark would be an option too maybe?

That is a really weird video.

My thought is that these can't really be symbols could they? I mean they would look different depending on your location on the ground, right? The 'symbol' would look different to people at different locations.

Also did anyone else hear what sounded like a prop plane fly over. I'm a pilot and it definitely sounds like a small plane flying over at some point. I'm not thinking that the lights are coming from a plane - I'm thinking what did that pilot of the small plane see?

Sorry Annunakix I see now that you also heard the aircraft fly over. And yea I was wondering if it is the same plane heard later as the one in the begining.

The thing I thought was interesting is you see the film moving in normal fps in the beginning with the road/cars and zooming in. Then when the odd patterns happen, it's almost if the dot was moving so fast that's all the camera caught. Sort of like the effect in the matrix when they're moving extraordinarily fast. Essentially too fast for the camera to catch any fluid motion making it almost look like stop motion (or a slide show in this case).

I know if I ever video tape a UFO I'm going to try to remember to give a description of what I'm seeing and what's around me too.

I see what you mean, but when the 'symbol' is displayed doesn't it display for several frames. That would mean the streak of light is sustained for a period of time. That could mean several things, including a 'dot' of light moving rapidly through that path for a period of time. Do you see what I mean?

Angelia Joiner has indeed confirmed (on another message board) that this is footage from the 19 January Coran video. She is curious how it has been leaked though. Ms. Joiner and another person [edit] blocked a Brazilian video team's view of the footage being shown on a computer monitor.

She also reminds us that Steve Allen said it was similar, and Lee Roy Gaitan confirmed that this was the same as what he saw.

There is still footage out there from the following night, 20 January from David Coran.

it's one thing to be cautious/prudent about saying the images are real or not....or what exactly they are makes sense....we should analyze from a number of different plausible possiblities....including alien craft.

but...balloons? c'mon, how does that argument go?

why would Ms. Joiner object to anyone seeing this video in the first place? brazilian or otherwise...

What does everyone else think of these ideas.

The streak of light is maintained for more than one frame.

The streak effect then is not just the camera but what is actually being observed.

That these streaks would look different from different locations on the ground making any 'symbol' difficult to determine.

And finally how would a streak of light be maintained for a small duration of time appearing over several frames?
