A clinic in Las Vegas may have infected 40,000 people with Hepatitis C virus and HIV due to improper medical procedures, US health officials reported.

Saliva does carry small amounts of the virus, the likely hood of this type of transmission is about as good as getting hit by a rock from space... There are far to many variables, and the virus itself is very fragile.
Saliva carries the virus, my step uncle had it, he took extra care, rubber gloves and such.
