The story of this guy is pretty bizarre. He'd been making up phony stories as he hopped from state to state in the US. He dumped his 3yo daughter at a Melbourne train station in Australia after he murdered his wife in New Zealand. For days the NZ police failed to check the family car, even though numerous members of the press and police had been standing around it.

This story is really sad. That poor little girl would have been beside herself at the station all alone. The murdered woman was quite young and (in my eye) very beautiful. Why, oh why didn't he just hand himself in and be done with it. When you commit a crime like this (not that i'd really know) wouldn't it (the crime itself) be enough? Running away is not the answer.Get it over and done with and maybe, just maybe you can at least live with yourself. Until you face the the consequenses of your actions, you can't live at all.I saw the other day that a former veitnam gaurd or torturer was forced to visit the scene of a death camp and they were saying how he was crying at this and that. Well there is a man that has been in hiding all his life, and now forced to look at these things, I can see that this man, despite the things he may have done in the past, will at least be able to die in peace. Healing works both ways.
